Touch Mouse Tools allows for a better usability experience on Windows while using a mouse and a touchscreen together. Normally, touchscreen events cause the mouse pointer to be moved to the location last touched on the touchscreen. However with Touch Mouse Tools installed, movement is instead resumed from the last mouse location instead. This allows you to use your mouse and touchscreen independently – which is particularly useful if you are using a secondary touchscreen as a ‘control panel’ – such as a mix console, while also using your main monitor as your desktop with a mouse. Touch Mouse Tools can also be optionally configured to constrain your mouse pointer to one monitor at a time. Rather than moving freely between screens, you can make it so that you can switch the pointer between screens by pressing Alt+Q. This setting is not enabled by default, and if you do decide to use it then you can also choose a different key macro if you prefer. We recommend enabling this setting for maximum ease of use.
