I had a deeply disappointing experience with this agency after making an offer on a property they listed. My initial offer was accepted by the vendor, but communication completely broke down when the agent went on holiday without warning or handover. Days later, I was told another party had made a higher offer and was asked to increase mine, despite already having an agreement in place.

Reluctantly, I raised my offer significantly, which was then accepted. I was assured the property was off the market. However, after expressing concerns about the agency’s conduct in a formal complaint—met with a dismissive and unhelpful response from their manager—I was abruptly informed the vendor had accepted another offer and the property was sold.

This agency demonstrated a shocking lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic courtesy. Their handling of the process was both emotionally and financially distressing. I will never deal with them again and would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious.

Really not worth the extortionate fee they charge for selling houses. It cost be over £7k for basically a poor advertisement, poor photos taken on an IPhone , escorted visits for potential buyers by staff that had never seen the house and feedback that was at best poor. I would never use again , simply a rip off .

I am absolutely infuriated by the horrendous property letting services provided by William and Goodwin. Not only did they display a shocking lack of professionalism, but I was appalled to witness blatant racism and discrimination against Muslims. It's utterly disgraceful that such behavior is tolerated in this day and age. This company's actions are beyond reprehensible, and I strongly advise everyone to steer clear of their services.My blood boils just thinking about my personal visit to the William and Goodwin office. The staff's dismissive attitude was beyond belief – they seemed determined to get rid of me as quickly as possible, treating me like an inconvenience rather than a potential customer. Zero stars for their despicable behavior and abysmal service.

Absolutely disgusting company!

Nothing but issues with them as a Tennant throughout my tenancy, and then at the end they tried to claim for absolutely everything possible through the deposit scheme - meaning my deposit has been locked for weeks.

I strongly advise that you keep well clear of this company!!

Valuation was requested for my property,markedly lower than local average for similar properties,and way off 1st valuation.Interestingly the estate agent across the road from them valued the property at the same ridiculously low value.Did a bit of searching on directors in companies house,well very interested to find that The directors of one estate agency ,had previously been directors for the other across the road ,simply search on the names Williams and Goodwin ie find the directors names.Did they really think I would fall for that old dodgy estate agent trick, the two estate agents working together.They were obviously looking either for a quick sale to boost poor cash flow,or had a “friend” with capital who would buy our property only to sell it straight on later for a much higher price splitting the difference between themselves! Strong advice not to sell your property with these greasy articles.

As a property developer i thought I could do business with this firm but sadly its impossible. Whether its a welsh - English racist thing which is so rife in North Wales or the fact the I often wear my work clothes calling into the branches at Llangefni and Caernarfon and the owners don't think I'm good enough to speak to or the fact that they are just pig ignorant. For sure all the staff ive dealt with suffer from a personality deficit, have no sales or customer service skills whatsoever and are completely lacking in get up and go.

When an offer was made for a property I had up for sale with them which I accepted the manager of the Caernarfon branch never even phoned me. In fact he never contacted me again??? What a joke!! I have a piece of land up for sale with them at another branch which I will be taking off when I can be bothered which is very much this companies attitude. I actually bought the plot from their property auction and had a nightmare with one of their members of staff from Llangefni who turned up screaming, shouting and balling threatening to phone the police as me and my work lads were about to clear the plot claiming I hadn't completed on the land. I had completed the previous evening at 4pm?? Bonkers, I had to walk away before swung for her!

It is fair to say this estates agents DO NOT SELL houses, they merely advertise them and people come a long and buy them.

When the internet estate agent companies hit North Wales and I'm not talking no commission Purple Bricks but the estates agents who operate from home based offices, are true professional sales people who are available 7 days a week 24 hours a day such as Ewe Move etc the likes of The Property People will need to alter the way they do business, learn to sell and learn some customer service skills or wave goodbye to their businesses.

I told my property lawyer not to pay them for a month after the property was sold just to make my point. We have since laughed as the Property People sent solicitors letters to my property lawyer demanding payment and threatening him with court proceeding?? How hilarious, the contract was between myself and The Property People not with my property lawyer?? They couldn't even get that right.

My whole experience of The Property People was just plain disappointing and I would not recommend them at all to any one.
