I really enjoyed the day. David tailored his course to my needs and put me at ease during the practical driving session. I learnt a lot and I am now looking forward to towing my new caravan on plenty of holiday trips.

Dave was very knowledgeable about towing and road safety. Very easy to talk to and we both learnt a lot from our day with him.
He made a lot of recommendations for when we purchased our caravan and offered future advise at any time.

We had an awesome day with Dave. He went through all the theories of towing, legalities and safety, along with many usefull tips from his years of experience. We then progressed to reversing, both in a straight line and into a simulated campsite bay. Only when we were happy did we progress out on the road. All types were covered, Motorways, A roads, B roads, and town centres. We had booked an extended day as it was two of us, and we weren't disappointed. We started at 09:00 and finally said our goodbye's at 20:00. We both came away feeling comfortable pulling a caravan and all that it entailed.

An excellent course for anyone who has never towed a caravan before. David is an excellent instructor who went through everything I needed to know about owning a caravan. A very thorough and well taught course with options on either a single or twin axle caravan. Lots of time to practice and nothing missed on the two day option.

Great training provided, tailored exactly to my needs. The trainer is very experienced and knowledgeable. He made it a fun and interesting day. I can highly recommend and am going to get my wife to the training too.

David’s course was so very helpful. We learned a great deal and it was particularly useful to have so much practical towing experience in different traffic and road conditions. Thoroughly recommend the caravan tow training course. I would go so far as to say it should be compulsory before anyone hitches up.

When hubby did an extensive 2 day towing course with David Griffin a few weeks ago I went along as an observer. Day 1 theory and reversing, Day 2 lots of driving and on that occasion we used both Dave's vehicle and single axle caravan. I'd always said I didn't want to tow but now we're soon to pick up our new caravan I had a rethink and plucked up the courage to do it myself. Having gone through the theory part previously I did the one day course using our own car this time. After some reversing tuition we drove circa 150 miles around the roads of Devon & Somerset - on motorway, dual carriageways, single track roads, through towns, winding roads and pinch points in small villages, roundabouts and not forgetting the numerous cyclists that were out and about.

I was anxious as the day grew closer and told Dave that I was nervous about towing but I needn't have been. Dave is a great instructor, very relaxed (not like the scary ex-policeman examiner I remember on my driving test a long time ago now) and he certainly puts you at ease. We also received lots of tips and practical advice for when we're out with our caravan.

If you're the other half that can drive but doesn't like the thought of towing the caravan I'd encourage you to have a go even if it's just to enable you to take over and give your partner a break on the easier sections of your journey.

We would have no hesitation in recommending David Griffin to anyone looking for towing tuition.

My husband and I were complete newcomers to towing, but by the end of the intensive course's second day with Dave, I felt confident enough to tow a caravan. Dave is not only a passionate instructor but also incredibly friendly and patient. You not only get a solid understanding of the theory but also practical tips and tricks. Dave takes you on a diverse road journey, covering motorways, single and dual carriageways, and even narrow country roads.

Now, we are confident full-time travelers. We smoothly drove from Somerset to Vienna, Austria, and are now on our way to Greece. I highly recommend Dave for anyone entering the caravan world. Thank you, Dave! Our dream couldn't have happened without you!

It was a great day, I learnt far more than I thought i would. Dave is a great teacher, I was really impressed and would recommend the course's to anyone. I definitely wouldn't tow a caravan without doing a course, especially with Dave. Total value for money and your insurance comes down a lot so it will pay for itself.

A superb couple of days of intensive but relaxed tuition. Dave is a very good instructor with an easy going manner. The road driving day covered the full spectrum of roads and was very confidence inspiring. I felt much more confident towing a caravan at the end.

Dave is great to have showing us the ropes. He was patient helpful and really nice to learn from. We had a great day and learnt loads and wouldn’t tow without his tuition.

A fantastic Caravan Towing Course.

As newbies to the Caravan world, we had no experience in towing a caravan, so decided to book on the intensive course and it was the best decision we ever made. Dave put us at ease from the first minute and the theory alone was worth the fee.

The guidance through the manoeuvres and the driving builds your confidence all the time. The driving route was fantastic as it covers country roads, single and dual carriage ways as well as the Motorway.

Couldn't recommend this course highly enough.

Dave gave me a great incite into towing a caravan which gave me the confidence to purchase my own. He had an extensive knowledge of towing and ran the course with professionalism but still giving me time with tricky monoverse when I needed it.

Wow what an amazing day with Dave. A must course for all newbies to caravan towing. Dave’s knowledge and professionalism is 5*. We started anxiously, hence the reason for booking this course and left the day feeling fantastic with a clear understanding of towing our van with confidence and safety to us and all other drivers on the road. The course is value for money and can’t stress it enough that everyone thinking or a beginner to touring do such a course then Dave is the one to go too. Dave was amazing, gave me so much confidence. I did the day & half course which was well worth the extra money. Dave took me on all types of roads including single track, motorways, through towns and villages. Also hitching up and unhitching. Very patient teaching me to reverse and also park the caravan. Would highly recommend his course

The full day cause is good, with helpfull tips and advice from dave as well as going at which ever speed you require to get the most out of the cause very helpful.
