I attended a refresher course for door supervisor at training 4 employment I can honestly say I was delighted with the overall experience training had good knowledge and friendly staff i hesitated to attend the refresher course at first but however I’ve been trained to the newest standards and legalisations the course included important topics that we are required to know.

I was meant to do an A61 course on the …
I was meant to do an A61 course on the 23rd of September, so I paid a deposit and cancelled my work that whole week to do the training. The training was cancelled two days before the start of the course because the person that was supposed to take the course got sick and they promised to refund my deposit. I have yet to receive my deposit, and the worst is they don't pick up your calls or respond to emails.

I had an unpleasant experience
I had an unpleasant experience at the reception. The receptionist was very rude, which set a negative tone for my visit. Additionally, there was a large dog present that barked at everyone, making the atmosphere quite uncomfortable.

Firstly, we apologise if our receptionist's manner was perceived as rude. We understand how important a warm welcome is. However, it is our policy that all learners complete the required self-study before attending the course. Our receptionist was following this protocol to ensure that all participants are adequately prepared for the course. We understand this may have caused frustration, but adhering to this requirement is crucial for the success of our learners.
Regarding the presence of the dog, we apologise for any discomfort this may have caused. The dog is a trained security dog, and it was in the back office temporarily while waiting to go on site visits. We will, however, take steps to ensure that its presence does not negatively impact our guests in the future.
We hope this clarifies the situation, and we appreciate your understanding. Should you have any further concerns or questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to discuss. We value your feedback and strive to improve our services continuously.
