Had a repair done on van they fitted me in with short notice as I needed van , great price and service again if you have a motorhome use this garage

Avoid this garage like the plague. I took my motohome to them with a fault. Their mechanics wrongly diagnosed a fault although that they were told and aware that there were more easily proven faults that be checked out first.
Did not use the right process by using a diagnostic machine. Did no work on tbe motorhome. I removed the part myself although they intended to charge a fat fee for diagnostics and labour. The electrical item had to be sent away costing over £200 to be checked out, only to be returned as fully functional . To retreave this electrical part I had to pay them nearly £300. They have no scruples and honour. They will still charge you even when they make a mistakes. A basic mechanics diagnosis machine would proven that there was no fault. But they were poor at their job avoid them they cheat you and let you down. The part costing new was possibly £1000. Trading Standards stated to you have no option but to pay under protest.

Booked my car in for it's MOT with T.R.G. & took it in an hour b4 the booked time.
Counter staff were both polite & courteous & only too pleased to help.
I had used them in the past with my old car & found their prices to be equally competitive with other local garages.
Pleased to say that car was ready for collection within a couple of hours & passed with no advisories.

If you use Transport repair be prepared to follow up with Trading Standards, a lawyer or maybe even emergency services. The task I set for them was simple, to treat the rust on the extension chassis on my Motorhome, clean to good metal, chemically treat and topcoat with a galvanising paint.Replace the 10 rusty galvanised bolts. What they actually did was paint over the rust with an enamel paint not treating the rust and did not replace the bolts, just painted part of them. When I challenged them why they had not done what they had quoted for they just told me to go away! I have been and engineer for well over forty years employing ten of thousands of contractors on a multitude of tasks, experience has told me and of course their actions this is a garage they are not to be trusted. I was fortunate as the task was just rust, if you intend to use them, ask yourself if you trust them enough to service your brakes, I would not or any other task.
