A disappointing pizza and a dirty chef

We stopped here as it was one of the handful of restaurants open. The lady who welcomed us was sweet and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was tidy but ultimately it is a slightly tacky tourist spot catering to the tourists visiting the region. The food came very quickly and was edible, but don't expect a tasty, crispy pizza - overall it was a bit soggy, undercooked and bland. But the big reason for giving only 1 star is that the pizza chef was openly eating food with his hands throughout the time he was preparing customer food - including our pizza's. This is totally against basic health and safety, and his lack of care about eating a pizza and whatever else, with his hands while cooking customer food was unprofessional, unhygienic and really off putting. There are no hygiene ratings displayed at this restaurant and after seeing the chef's behaviour, it made us wonder what was going on in the kitchens - hygiene wise. Really do not recommend.
