It took 2 months, 2 attempts and too many calls to satisfy a claim of $354.00.......from premiums paid in excess of $3000.00!!! 3 stars is probably charitable.

I submitted my claim on 4/22/2026 after…
I submitted my claim on 4/22/2026 after incurring injuries. My flight to Europe was scheduled for June 1, 2026. Between my travel agent, doctors, and I, we’ve submitted approx 20 pgs of detail as requested by Travel Insured International, and some of that info is a duplication of previously submitted information. I contacted them for status update today, 06/12/2026. I was told that my agent resubmitted a document on 6/10, and it would be a couple of days before it was “attached” to my claim, and THEN sent off for review - again. There is no escalation process and the claims are totally automated. Just wanted to share this as a heads to others who use these services. They had no problem or delay in taking my fee for coverage on the day I signed up for coverage, getting my refund however, is ridiculous.
The representatives I’ve spoken with have been very respectful and professional.

Absolutely terrible claims handling
Absolutely terrible claims handling. I had a very basic canceled flight with extra overnight stay etc. The claim isn’t more than a couple hundred but still waiting five months later.
Zero care, zero responsiveness.
This is how they commented three months into the process. Two months later zero updates.
”We received your claim documents. The claims are reviewed in the order that we receive them. Once the claim analyst reviews the documents, they will reach out to you with status. We are currently experiencing a delay. We are sorry for the inconvenience and accept our apologies.
Currently no further information is needed. Please note that upon review we may still require additional documentation and we are not confirming that we have received everything we need to finalize the claim ”
