Our trip was great, but on three days our guides had different itineraries than what was presented to us. We were able to change things in one instance, in the other 2 we just didn’t see everything we thought we were going to see.

Our trip to Greece was everything I could have asked for. Chris at Travelous was very helpful and always responsive. International travel can always be tricky, but our trip only had a couple of minor bumps in the road that Chris rectified immediately. I will definitely use Travelous again. Top notch service!!

An amazing trip , I loved the app. It let you know everything that was happening. Chris and all his guides where extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Travelous they are very professional and there for you every step of the way.

We travelled to Turkey for a 12 day private tour which included Istanbul Cappadocia, Izmir and Bodrum. We can't say enough good things about our experience. The people were very friendly and the historic sites were almost too many to count. Weather was outstanding with temperatures ranging from 55F to 85F, depending on where we were in Turkey. As expected, Istanbul and Cappadocia tended to be a bit cooler while Izmir and Bodrum were warmer. My wife and I were extremely pleased with the attention to detail and service we received from Travelous and specifically, Chris Bazos. Everything Travelous arranged was top shelf and we did not have a single issue the entire trip. We now have our favorite tour company and will be contacting them for all our tours in the future. I also want to mention our tour guide, Yusuf Burak. In 30 years of travelling, I don't think we have ever come across a tour guide with more knowledge of the area he was describing. He was also a wonderful person to hang out with!

Cairo and Luxor. Our trip to Egypt was excellent. Most everything went well after requesting the initial information from Travelous. It was nice that the company was not pushy in a sales type of way. Our rep was always responsive to our questions and we were fairly well prepared for our trip. The accommodations and tour guides were amazing. I would absolutely recommend a trip to Cairo and Luxor with Travelous to anyone I know.

I recently traveled to Egypt for a 17 day tour with my sister and our 88 year old mother. I personally don't normally travel this way (usually wing it) but with covid (out of practice traveling) and with our mother we decided to book a private tour. After talking to a few outfits we decided on Travelous, primarily based on the timely and informed responses that we received from Chris Bazos. Through collaboration (but mostly Chris) we had an itinerary that looked like it covered everything that we wanted to see, as well as some fun extras. Prior to our trip Chris made sure to get on the phone with us and give us a final run down on the trip and what to expect.

Egypt is an absolutely beautiful country with an amazing history, thought provoking monuments and truly wonderful and friendly people. What truly made our trip unforgettable, were our travel and tour guides hired by Travelous (and Chris) who shared their Country and home with us.

After over 24 hours of traveling, we were exhausted when we hit Cairo. We were met at the airport by Samer, who greeted us with a warm smile and then proceeded to take care of EVERYTHING until we were comfortably ensconced in our hotel rooms. He would meet us most mornings with a smile and always had great information, not just about the sites, but the people, culture and customs of Egypt, all shared in a warm friendly, jovial manner.

Our tour guide for Cairo/Giza Samah was equally warm, knowledgable and happy. She showed us all over and had tremendous information and again shared more than just history. She studied Egyptian history so she had very detailed information and her delivery and patience were greatly appreciated.

Lamey was our tour guide for our trip to Aswan, Luxor and our Nile cruise. He was very knowledgable about all of the places that we visited, was always available, always with a smile and a friendly laugh. He made modifications easily on the fly when we asked to do something different than what had been scheduled. A true joy to be around.

Words can not accurately describe Samer, Samah and Lamey and how much they made our trip. They treated us like family and I miss seeing them every day, although we have stayed in touch. So much so that I invited them to stay with me if they come to the US and I will show them my part of the Country.

There was not one bad part of our trip and the people (Chris, Samer, Lamey and Samah) made it perfect. While I might not return to Egypt (lots of places yet to see) if I do, it will be to visit my new friends.

Everything was amazing! Chris was wonderful at making sure all the details were covered beforehand. He took the time to explain all of our questions. Iman was an absolute pleasure! Her personality and knowledge really made the trip! Tarik was just as wonderful and got us through the hottest days with ease. And I truly believe we would still be in Cairo airport if it wasn't for Samer leading the way!

Chris Bazos organized a splendid journey for us in Egypt and Jordan. All ofour accommodations were first class. Our drivers and vans were impeccable. All of our guides brought so much information to our travels...and we were able to share our life experiences over the course of a few days. We highly recommend Travelous and Chris Bazos for your trip to Egypt and Jordan.

Travelous planned every detail from tours, hotels, drivers, visas, even picking tour guides for our personalities. The app they have, made it simple to navigate through the entire experience. They had emergency contacts and so much more to make sure our vacation was the best. Chris was easy to work with and was quick to respond if there was any concern. We are already in the works of planning our next adventure with travelous.

This was my first time booking a tour with Travelous. I had a great trip March 2022. My primary suggestion, should you book with them, is to be sure your itinerary is exactly what you are expecting for your trip. I was disappointed with the guides/reps in Luxor that we were assigned, and felt unsafe in one hotel where we were booked.

In addition to a great travel architect e.g. Chris Bazos, the guides and representatives in Egypt were exceptional. They went up and beyond to make our trip super special.

Travelled to Egypt back in 2020 just prior to the pandemic. I am still amazed at how flawless Travelous made our trip! Before we booked with Travelous, we were suspicious. As a then-somewhat-new company, they only had a handful of Trust Pilot reviews. We're so pleasantly surprised by the company. Everything was coordinated so well, and we met some tour guides that have become friends for life. Shout out to Uncle Lamey in Egypt. I hope you are well my brother.

I don't know where to begin. Travelous arranged a 3 week tour of Egypt, Jordan, and Israel for my spouse and me. Chris called us and we discussed what type of tour we wanted, how long, and what kind of activities we enjoyed. And he came up with a perfect tour. Chris called us about a week before we left and spent time going over our itinerary and answering any questions we had. He also posted our trip on an app. so we always had it at a glance. The tour was amazing, the guides were amazing and worked hard to make sure we had the best experience possible. We were given first class treatment by everyone we met. I would highly recommend Travelous , and in fact, I did while we were on our tour. I will definitely use them in the future. I can't say enough good about them.

Johanna at Travelous did an excellent job of listening to our requests and then putting the trip together at the most competitive price. Every detail was taken care of. All we did was enjoy it.
They were great to work with. Always responded to questions or concerns promptly and during the trip we had contact information for local people as well as Travelous folks 24/7.
This is the first time using Travelous but it won’t be the last.

Travelous was wonderful to work with. We had them help us plan a trip to Portugal for the first time. From the rides to various destinations to the incredible accommodations, everything was amazing. Local tour guides met us everyday to educate and explore. The cost was very reasonable. I will definitely use Travelous for future travel.

I 100% recommend Travelous to manage your trip to Egypt. We did a 10 day private tour. It took us through Cairo and everything between Aswan and Luxor. We weren't sure that we'd be able to see everything we wanted in only 10 days, but Chris and the Egypt Travelous crew put together an awesome tour for us.

Our Egyptologist tour guides (Iman in Cairo, and Tarek in Upper Egypt) were amazing. We couldn't stump them with any of our questions, they were so knowledgeable! You can tell that they really love what they do. They are great people, we loved hanging out with them. The same is true for the tour managers Hesham, Hamada, and Abdul. They really went out of their way to make sure all of our needs were taken care of.

I will be wholeheartedly recommending that my friends not only go to Egypt, but utilize Travelous on their adventures, and you should, too. You will not be disappointed!

We were very pleased with our recent trip to Egypt/Jordan arranged by Chris. We hoped for the trip of a lifetime and Chris and Travelous did not disappoint. Our guides were knowledgeable and a real pleasure to be with. The drivers were all very professional and safe. The airport reps made our arrivals and departures a breeze. The hotels were top notch. Chris does an excellent job of planning and executing a travel experience where you not only see the destination but you experience the people, the cultures, the foods and customs. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We highly recommend Chris and Travelous. We plan to use Travelous again for our next international trip.

Recently traveled to Egypt with an itenerary set up by Travelous. Could not be happier with the level of service they provided. We were expertly Shepard Ed by competent staff and our guides were very knowledgeable and engaged the entire trip. Accommodations were above expectations. They also provided some experiences off the beaten path of the usual temples and pyramids one expects to see in Egypt.

First time we used this agency, but will certainly be booking future trips with them!
