“Building on your reputation ?”

Don't Use This Company!
Quotes from the companies Website - Great words, things need to change!
“Why three guys from the Midlands had a dream to be different and better”.
“Whether you are a private developer or Housing Association you can trust us to build on your reputation by building wonderful homes for your customers”.

Fine words but unfortunately the Company lacks systems to manage its contractors, monitoring of their work or rectification, before hand over.

On hand over once again no clear process is in place. No reporting system is in place, no record keeping, contractors are allowed to mess customers around with cancelled appointments to rectify substandard work. Many of the faults should not have happened if the work had been monitored correctly during the build.

The Forest Drive site is small and why in the last 12 months have you had four different site managers, all new to Tricas. If systems had been in place to monitor both the site mangers and the contractors just maybe that would have reflected in the standard of the finished product.

Bad workmanship and management of the site as left a bad taste in everyone's mouth at Forest Drive. We are all sick to the teeth of been let down by failed appointments, Lack of communication and miss information from Tricas. You need to put systems in place to pick up issues will the property is under construction. When a customer has faults there needs to be a clear pathway to rectify them as quickly as possible. A management control system needs to be put in place and monitored from the initial report to the rectification. The issue needs to be dealt with as quickly as possible and not just left as a note on a pad.

Issues with plot 10.

Firstly this is not a personal attack on any of the four site managers, most of the complaints are many months old. My issues from the start. Kitchen wall cabinets incorrectly fitted and hanging off the wall. Electrical installations totally ignoring current regulations. The Garage floor left unsealed with concert dust being trampled around. Floors that are clearly unlevelled and rough. More than 4cm across the lounge. This need far too much self-levelling compound. Garage feed from a spur off a spur leading to another two double sockets and lighting. Consumer unit mounted 50cm off the floor when it should be 130cm. Work unchecked and promises work to be rectified, only to have missed appointments time and time again. Front doors that are too small to pass building regulations. Badly designed central heating systems that do not heat the whole house. We had to spend £300 to rectify the miss place thermostats. Tricas believe in a high standard of quality and quite frankly I don’t think they understand the meaning of the word at all! They have been let down by there contractors although there is no excuse for allowing bad quality workmanship to be left unchallenged and reflects on the low standard of the outcome. They appear to have lost control, leaving people who have made probably the largest purchase of their life to be let down time and time again. Quite frankly I worry about the last buyers that will get no support and be left without any proper support now they have left the site. The top surface of the road and pavements has been a total joke, it is a standing joke with the residents as we have arranged 7 times to use the local church car park only to be called off at the last minute with some excuse or another. We have been living the last 12 months on a building site, often blocked in and vans parked anywhere they can with little thought to the residents. How long will we now be left with raised manhole covers? today was cancelled for the seventh time because of the light drizzle, ridiculous this would not stop a top surface being put down.

The MD also refuses to return calls.
