Here my story: I am private person living in Germany and I win 2 lots in NL with the numbers: A1-42351-79 and A1-42351-80. I paid immediately after receiving the invoice, I organized the transportation company (because the stuff was each 165kg) and I was waiting for the parts at home. I was really happy till that, so far so good. But one week after the defined pick-up date I got a cancellation email with a penalty. I asked what happens? I found out that the sipping company don’t find the address, they missed the single, 4-hour window for the pick-up and the notification email from the shipping company entered in the SPAM folder, so I was not aware about it. I called the support number found in troostwijkauctions.com, I told them, that I was not aware of the missed pick-up I am really sorry and I am ready to sit in the car and drive with a trailer from DE to NL to pick up the parts immediately, but they say me, sorry I don’t pick-up the parts, and they can’t give me new pick-up possibility, so I need to pay the penalty of 25% of the highest bid, plus the provision and on top VAT. Some numbers: the total two lots was 1,871.87€ and I had to pay 692.12€ without getting the parts. What is important to you, do not miss the pick-up window newer, troostwijkauctions.com will not support you (also not interested) at all to find a solution. Even they don’t send any email if the pick-up is not done, there is no any hint on your profile, there is no any telephone number on the pick-up documents, you or transportation company can’t call anybody there. Emails sent to support, you can forget it, was never answered with value. If there is something little goes wrong, even if you do all your best, you are left alone with that and you have to pay finally lot of money for nothing.

I won an auction for a Dell Monitor Lot A1-38883 which was advertised with a photo showing it in perfect working condition. However, upon collecting the item (which was provided without a power cable), i discovered at home that the internal panel is completely shattered. The damage is internal and invisible when the screen is off. Despite providing photographic evidence that the listing was misleading and that the defect was hidden (latent), Troostwijk Auctions refused to take any responsibility. They claim that because i signed the collection note, i waived my rights even though they provided no means to test the device on site. Selling broken goods using functional photos is a deceptive practice. Extremely disappointed with the lack of integrity and the 'robotic' customer service that ignores clear evidence of misrepresentation. Avoid bidding here if you expect honesty or support.

I don't recommend this company! I wan the auction for 4 products , all the packages arrived open and one of the incomplete.I collaborated with the company that they recommended me for packaging the products, this company refused to make complain to UPS. After they cashed the money (Troostwijk) they became indifferent about us.The shipment company is JMA-EXPRESS.

Thieves. When you win and pay for the lot. You are completely responsible for everything yourself.
They are not even good enough to load the goods onto the truck correctly, THIS IS WAREHOUSEMAN S RESPONSIBILITY, despite having a QR code on their invoice.
They shift all responsibility onto the driver who doesn't know what he is loading.
They robbed me of 700€.
After calling for help, they took 14 days to respond!
Respond is: You are responsible for everything yourself.
Despite the fact that they appropriate 19% of the auction fee for which they do absolutely NOTHING!

My review for troostwijk bw and the companny sold to Usa companies after 5 month. the companies try to contact me ? No! try to resolve milyon negative reviews? no! did they send me any mails? no! same company diffrent owners same arguements!!! Same problems still same!
€18,000 paid – goods not prepared for collection for over 3 months
I strongly do NOT recommend doing business with Troostwijk Auctions.
I won two auction lots and paid the full amount of €18,000.
More than three months have passed, and the goods have still not been prepared or released for collection, despite the fact that collection is my responsibility, not the platform’s.
The issue is not delivery, but the failure to make the goods available.
What is most concerning is the complete lack of accountability:
No clear timeline for when the goods will be prepared
No concrete or binding solution
Responsibility constantly shifted between the seller and the platform
Repeated delays with no formal explanation
As a buyer, I hold clear proof of payment and have fully complied with my obligations. Nevertheless, Troostwijk has failed to ensure that the seller fulfills the basic obligation of making the purchased goods available for pickup.
This experience shows poor oversight, weak buyer protection, and unacceptable post-payment support. Once the payment is completed, the buyer is left without any real leverage.
I have now been forced to contact the competent authorities and prepare legal action to recover my funds.
Until this matter is resolved, I consider this platform unsafe for buyers and would strongly advise others to exercise extreme caution before participating in auctions here.

My experience was extremely negative, and the process feels designed to make it very easy for the buyer to fail and then be charged automatically.
What happened:
After winning the auction, I tried to contact them early to coordinate collection. Communication was unreliable and unhelpful, and one of the provided email addresses didn’t even work.
When pickup details finally arrived, the information was late and inconsistent, creating confusion rather than clarity.
The most absurd part: they set a “final pickup” window of only 3 hours. For an international buyer, that’s practically impossible unless you already have a local carrier on standby with transport ready at that exact time.
Even though I paid on time, I was hit with an automatic penalty/withholding of around €580 for not collecting within that 3-hour window, and the purchase was cancelled.
Why this feels like a trap:
International pickups depend on carriers, scheduling, distance, warehouse procedures, and paperwork. A 3-hour window is not a reasonable deadline — it’s a near-guaranteed failure for many legitimate buyers.
Result: I paid, didn’t receive the item, and lost ~€580. I strongly recommend caution, especially if you’re buying from abroad.
