Since October 2016, after repeated requests for a refund the only person
that did everything for me was Emma Castle it was all sorted within 4 hrs in the March 2017. In between this time we were assured that this would be sorted ie the following month, and nothing happened. I would like to thank Emma Castle for her promptness and getting back to me with the result.

Ok, I got a phone call from these guys, you know the standard "we can save you this.....now if you just give me your bank details we'll sort that for you right now" kind of phone calls, to which I said "hang on, NO, I'm not signing anything without checking out the company first etc" so they rang me back, but i'd had a hectic week and not had time to look into it. So they rang me again. I had a v quick look and saw some negative reviews on here, but figured there were more + than - and even BT have a not of - reviews out there, so I'd give them a try, I got a very nice man, v polite, good sales patter etc, seemed very trustworthy (as much as anyone can over the phone).
Then 2 hours later the phone rings "Hi I'm from true telecome, we spoke with your husband and he thinks.... but blahblah" I said "hang on, WHEN did you talk to my husband?! "a week or so ago!" "SO WHY are you ringing me this afternoon when I just signed up this morning!?" This made me a bit worried about their system and communication! So I did a little more research and began to think I had maybe done the wrong thing.
Then I rang BT as I also had a mobile on my contract that I wanted to terminate, and said, while I'm on the phone, I've signed up with someone else, so instantly they offered me a deal to stay, so to save the hassle of a switch over and to stay with the company we know and trust, we decided to stay. So I rang true telecom back and was transferred to a man in the accounting department, who tried to make me stay by throwing a little tantrum saying things like "what, your not even gonna give us a chance!? Not even going to wait and get the welcome package!" I said no sorry, I just want it all sorted today" I didn't want them to put the new router etc in the post, to which he replied in a huff, "your cancelled" and hung up!
So then late last night I get an email from BT to say "sorry you are leaving"! So I rang BT and they said "True telelcom haven't cancelled their order!" So they've done it at their end but now I've got to ring back and make sure True telecom don't go ahead and charge me etc. They told me I had a "14 day cooling off period and BT will probably try and match my order and that's fair enough" etc, being all nice at the sales end, but cancelling.... If I had been thinking to switch any time in the near future, the attitude of the man at the cancelling end of things has definitely put me off, I will never sign up with them in future if that's the attitude when you want to leave
*edit* Have just spoken to someone "senior" in accounting who was much more polite, so have taken it up to a 3 star review based on the fact that it was only one guy that was so rude, the rest were all very helpful!

This company have cold called me on a number that is a TPS registered number , then the caller josh hung up when i told him i would report them for illegal cold calling
i would urge anyone who receives a cold sales call from these pests to report it here in the form of a one star review to demonstrate how annoying these cowboys are

Avoid this Conpany they do nothing but lie. I am starting a court case as I have been waiting for a refund for close to a year, I have been in touch with the ombudsman and they have agreed to come to court for me.
I was promised a fixed rate of £30 my first bill was £175 and so it went on from there. I do not believe the 5 star reviews and wished i'd never heard of True Telecom. Roll on my day in court.

I have been with True Telecom for five months now with my landlines plus one month for fibre to cabinet broadband. Whilst my landline service has run very much as before with my previous phone provider what has really put True Telecom head and shoulders above the crowd is both in the reliability and superior speed - and in fact overall resilience - of their broadband network coupled with their customer care service. Only this morning I was contacted by Jaimie Terry from Customer Services checking that I was still a happy client and had no outstanding issues in need of resolution. A dodgy enterprise in which to engage to my way of thinking - putting ones "neck out" on a cold call to check that the customer is happy whilst not knowing what sort of verbal abuse might be returned. So for customer care True Telecom scores 10/10 in my book.

It is always a very pleasant and helpful experience talking to True Telecom staff. They are polite and are 'real humans' who go out of their way to get any problems sorted. Well done True Telecom for being head and shoulders above competitors in Customer Service.

The young man Dan who helped me today, was confident, understood the dilemma and having researched details returned my call within a short space of time, admitting that TruTelecom had not in this instance followed procedures.
