Customer service/Trunki scooter
We bought Trunki scooter 08-2024. It broke after 14 months (steering issue). While it's a shame that they don't provide spare parts, the customer service was responsive and they offered 50% refund first, and the full refund after another email exchange, which is fair.
My order still not delivered
My order still not delivered. Order goods Saturday 10.January 2026 today is 15 January and my order has not arrived. I have cancelled my orders and refund my money.
23rd December - order cancelled by them
23rd December and our order has been cancelled. Luckily not a big purchase and not a main Christmas gift for our little one but it strikes me they’ve not got their ducks in a row. Don’t bother with them! Can get better or similar off Amazon.
Interview their staff using AI chatbots
What a terrible company, the founder being interviewed on BBC news this morning advocating using AI chatbots to interview candidates for jobs. Disrespectfully can't be arsed to speak to their candidates in person and letting a US bot decide who gets the job. Surely if one bot rejects a candidate, all bots at all companies will come to the same conclusion because it's the same AI. Just stupid, disrepectful to their staff. Are they monitoring and sacking staff using bots too?
Avoid this company
Avoid this company if you expect them to award Nectar point via the Nectar app after making a qualifying purchase.
Shocking customer service, don’t think they even understood what I was talking about when contacting them regarding this issue.
Over a year since I made the purchase and between Trunki and Nectar, neither can sort this issue out,
And to add to it, trunki advised Nectar to remove points from my account which had never been awarded in first place
Pathetic company, and un-knowledgeable staff.
No Spare Parts
Apparently Trunki have stopped providing spare parts for their scooters due changes to warehouse setup. As a result I have no option but to throw away a scooter which just needs a small nut for the safety latch (tried searching local shops, but was not able to source)
Not buying anything Trunki going forward...
Poor quality, No spare parts, not sustainable
I cannot believe trunki does not offer replacement parts. My scooter Broke after 3 years of infrequent use after an Internal spring intended to keep the wheels straight snapped; should be a simple fix. But trunki’s solution is a 20% discount off a new product and A LOT of plastic going in the bin. What a waste. A replacement spring woukd probably cost 5p, but they confirmed it’s a bespoke design which is not available anywhere. 20% off a new product is not a solution. I’ll never buy trunki again. Not a sustainable company.
Fabulous customer service
Fabulous customer service, we had a defective Trunki upon receiving the product, within an hour of sending an email a new one was ordered with no quibbles. It made for an excellent service and the team were friendly and apologetic!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Customer Service!
I had a fantastic experience with Trunki's customer service team. They were friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond to help with my query. It's so refreshing to deal with a company that truly cares about its customers. The product is excellent too—fun, durable, and perfect for kids. Highly recommend both the product and the company!
Fantastic customer service for my son's beloved scooter
Our son loves his Trunki scooter, which he has had for over 2 years. The steering spring eventually broke, and when I contacted customer service, along with a photo and the Halfords receipt, they sent me a replacement scooter, which I have received today (Tuesday, and I only sent the receipt by email on Friday).
I have seen some other negative reviews regarding a similar issue, where there was a negative outcome. Either they were unlucky, or Trunki have taken this feedback on board, as I have been very impressed with all the communication along the way, as well as the rapid resolution once I had found the receipt! All emails responded to on the same day, and sometimes outside of working hours.
Do not buy!!!!
Ordered the Dudley Dinosaur Trunki for my child for Christmas, only for it to be broken upon delivery. This was supposed to be my son's main Christmas present so he, of course, was very disappointed. When it came to contacting Trunki, the options were limited to: an email address. I wrote them an email immediately detailing what had happened with pictures attached as evidence. Two weeks went by and I heard nothing. I emailed once again, in case my email had somehow gotten lost in their system, but still no response. We are now over three weeks in without a response. I have since emailed again. I shall excitedly await to once again not receive the remotest response. With no other way to get in contact with them, I am stuck with 60€ of broken suitcase with no way of returning it and/or obtaining a refund.
All in all, their customer service is apparently non-existent and my child had to forgo their Christmas present. Very, very disappointing indeed.
Worst Customer Service
With 14 years experience within the customer service sector, Trunki ‘support team’ is probably the worst I’ve encountered. Really quite unprofessional and brash.
For parents ordering things for their children for Christmas, please be aware they don’t package the item in anything discreet, it’s just the item box. So that scooter my son asked Santa for? Yep, he saw that being handed to his Mum by the postman. Trunki’s response? ‘Well the damage is already done.’
Such rubbish customer service
Such rubbish customer service.
Bought as a present but changed mind. Spoke to Trunki who said I will need to send it back as they can’t cancel the order even though it was not sent out! Sent back by paying for own postage, and no response from Trunki. Emailed numerous times no response and then even when they did response such rude customer service. Claimed they did not receive the parcel even though there was a clear picture of it been delivered. Had to end up making a claim via postage company but Trunki were so unprofessional and couldn’t care less as they had got the money. Never again will I ever purchase anything from them !!!
Poor quality and customer care
I bought a trunki suitcase. It broke within the 12 month warranty period. Emailed to request a replacement multiple times. Have been ignored to date. Contact number on website doesn’t work and redirects to email address. Absolute scam artists
SO DISAPPOINTED.
Awful experience, returned my item over a month ago and no refund. I have emailed over 7 times and had no response to emails, they also have no phone number. Absolutely shockingly ridiculous customer service. I had to start a dispute with my bank over the transaction. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. ABSOLUTELY AWFUL.
Beware if Purchasing a Trunki Scooter
We purchased a Trunki Scooter for our little boy approximately 2 years a go, we picked this particular scooter which was much more expensive than the others in Halfords as we were fans of the brand as our little boy already had a suitcase. I noticed that the front set of wheels of the scooter were falling to the right and realised that the front spring had snapped. I contacted Trunki to purchase a new spring, I was referred to Halfords as Trunki don't appear to have anything to do with the product other than have their name on it. Halfords will only replace broken in-warranty scooters, there are no spares available. This means a Trunki scooter becomes a throw away item the minute a small part fails when it is out of warranty. Its sad when a company markets and sells a product, that is nothing more than scrap at the end of its warranty period if a £2-3 part fails, hardly what I would consider durable and fit for the purpose.
My daughter loves her trunki
My daughter loves her trunki. She loves to pack things into it. We can’t wait to take it on holiday we’ve been practicing pulling her round in the garden it will be ideal for the airport. Perfect size for all her entertainment and snacks.
