Worst experience

Worst experience. Company sends mixed responses regarding coverage. I was told that I service rep was coming out to review damage then send me another email that says my request was denied with out anyone coming out to review. They look for reasons to deny.

What a terrible company this New Leaf…

What a terrible company this New Leaf Service Contracts, Inc is!
I had a service contract for an extended warranty on all of my appliances. My warrantee was to expire on June 17th 2025. In May of this year my refrigerator started making a loud noise and the contents of the fridge kept freezing. New Leaf sent out a technician from an appliance repair company assigned by GE on May 30th and they had to order a part and come back on Monday, June 9th. Issue with fridge did not go away and they sent tech back on Friday, July 11th, Friday, July 18th, Thursday, July 31st and Tuesday August 26th. At the August 26th visit the technician informed me that he did everything "in the GE playbook" to fix the issue "that did obviously not fix your problem" and that I would need to call back in October when outside humidity levels dropped to see if the issue still occurred which I thought was ridiculous because I also needed my refrigerator to work during the humid summer months. I called New Leaf back on 10/6 to state the issue was still happening and they said the claim was closed due to 30 days going by. I did what the tech told me to do so I would expect the claim to remain open. New Leaf, when push comes to shove, is a terrible company with even worse customer service. I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau and I am filing a small claims law suite against them as well. Don't waste your money on this terrible "warrantee" service.

Scam company!

Scam company!! Do not use! I have four warranty contracts which cost me quite a bit! When my dishwasher broke they said it was too old to fix!! They said they would buy out my contract and they would only give me $109.00 to replace the unit . The new unit cost me $1899! I was told by one rep that I would get $400. The other rep told me no! I said that I would write a negative review and she did not care!!! Do not buy from them!! My appliance store refuses to use them anymore as well!

They lie and won't honor the contract

On 12/31/2021, I purchased an extended 5-year service plan on a freezer from New Leaf Service Pro, for $229.00. They refuse to honor the contract and I have exhausted my efforts with them.

I opened a claim with them (3645285) on 1/9/24 for a leaking ice maker. The technician came out two times and determined that the broken part was a “non-serviceable part” on 1/22/24.

New Leaf continues to lie to me saying that the case has been assigned to the “pending review team” and that I will have an offer (of some sort) within 24-48 hours, since the freezer cannot be repaired. They continue to tell me this lie and I cannot get any traction. Nobody will return my phone calls or respond to my emails. They promise to reach back out and provide an update, but they never do. It’s just the same lie, over and over.

1/26 Amelia told me the lie.
1/31 Rey told me the lie.
2/5 Jose Garcia told me the lie.
2/8 Julio told me the lie and hung up on me.
2/8 Karina contacted the service provider to get more information. She also lied about sending me an email.
2/9 Karina told me the lie.
2/16 Ashley told me the lie.

DO NOT RECOMMEND NEVERRRRRR

About more than a year I have been claiming that my refrigerator the ice maker does not work and after a year and a half a technician arrived and said that because the refrigerator was tucked between the cabinets that made the refrigerator did not make ice and the last technician came and defrosted the duct and still does not make ice because the company says that was a maintenance and I have to pay it and they decided to suspend my insurance until I pay the same

This Company engages in DECEPTIVE practices

Like one of the other reviewers below, I patiently waited five years. I had two TVs with contracts. Near the end of the term, I received a renewal notice to renew the insurance, but no notice as to how to make the claim for the 50% refund. I assumed that they would just send me the refund. The contracts expired on November 12, 2020. On January 3, 2021, less than 45 days later, I called enquiring about the refund. They said that since I had missed the 30 day window (which expired December 12, 2020), which I was unaware of, they could do nothing. They also said I would have needed the original purchase receipt, a certificate etc. Obviously, they have the information they need since they sent me the renewal notice, yet they make you jump through all these hoops and don't tell you about the 30 day window. It is definitely DECEPTIVE. I would give this company negative starts if I could. I don't understand how the people that work there can feel good about themselves.

definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

if there was a way to give this company -5 stars i wouldn’t even hesitate. the absolute WORST customer service. IMPOSSIBLE to reach. CHEAP SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES. NEVER RETURN YOUR CALLS. HAVE TO SPEND HOURS ON THE PHONE TRYING TO REACH SOMEONE. ON HOLD FOR HOURS.
the repair companies they work with are completely unprofessional, rude, they don’t know what they’re doing, they’ve been promising me to fix my washing machine for about three months and the people that they send are the most useless help. they try to “fix” my machine and it’s still doesn’t work. the wait time to get a hold of someone is months / weeks long.
definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the complaint that I filed with…

This is the complaint that I filed with the Better Business Bureau:
hey failed to refund 50% of my premium upon expiration of the contract as promised at the time of purchase. I feel I have been scammed.
When buying my dishwasher from AJ Madison November 8, 2015, I was sold a service contract with New Leaf. The main selling point on the policy was that if I did not make any claims in the five year term of the contact, 50% of the premium would be refunded. Hence, when the contact expired on November 7, 2020, I waited patiently for my refund to arrive.

Since it never did, I contacted New Leaf December 14, 2020 to remind them. However, I was told that I was supposed to have submitted documents to them within 30 of the expiration of the contract to "qualify" for the refund. Specifically, they said that I was to send them a copy of the original bill plus some certificate I was supposed to have. Therefore, they said, since it is more than 30 days since the contract expired I would not get my refund.

I informed them that I did not have any such certificate among all the documents I had saved from the transaction, and there was not way of me knowing that they required time sensitive action on my part. They basically said "tough luck".

I enquired as to why I should need to take any action at all since they already had all the information they needed like the contract, the payment info, the date of expiration, and my contact information. They responded that that's the way they do it giving no justification whatsoever.

I now realize that this company is running some sort of a scam. They enthusiastically declare that you will get half your money back after five years if you do not need to make a claim. But instead of sending the promised refund, they set up obstacles to significantly limit their acceptance of valid refund requests.

I find it particularly disreputable that they would use their own arbitrary 30 day rule to refuse my request since I find nothing in divine scriptures to justify their inflexibility. Obviously, their sales model is a variation of "bait and switch" since they promise one thing and deliver something less.
