Terrible company
Terrible company. Kept elderly cousin waiting for more than 3 hours and then cancelled blaming Covid when she rang to find out progress of the engineer.
Great engineer...when he finally arrived!
Monday - I was told I'd have an engineer that day. Waited. Late in day told he couldn't make it. Tuesday - same. Was pretty irate after Tuesday but needed the job done. Wednesday - told he'd arrive in an hour...then he couldn't. Lost the will after Wednesday. HOWEVER Customer Svcs were calm and friendly. Helped me to calm down too. When the engineer came he was friendly, knew what he was doing, sorted out my aerial for a reasonable fee and gave me important advice for the future. Providing next time my aerial goes wrong I have no work (!!!) I would probably call them again. Orbital has bad time management but worthy engineers. (FYI - was told Orbital were going to find someone from "my area". Turns out this engineer's previous job had been 40 miles away so not exactly "local" and no wonder timing was an issue!) Good experience in the end, hence 3 stars (would be 5 for the actual job).
Excellent service
Booked this company in spite of the reviews having failed over two weeks to get anyone "local". Booked Monday afternoon - they phoned early on Tuesday to say they would be there in an hour - turned up on time - engineer was perfectly capable and polite and friendly - problem with our TV reception was fixed there and then for £96 including callout, identify problem, and fix it including parts and labour. Not much else to say really! Would have no hesitation to book them again.
Timewasters
Messed me around for three days running and tried to reschedule a fourth appointment which is when I lost patience. I've only given them one star because I had to just to be able to write this. Judging by the reviews on here I'm not alone in thinking they're a waste of time.

Contacted this company on Thursday 6 May 2021. Appointment booked for Friday 7th May. We waited in all day, no one turned up, no phone call. I called them and was told they didn`t work on weekends but would be here on Monday 10 May. AGAIN no one came. They did phone and apologised and said they would be here on Tuesday 11 May. They phoned mid afternoon and apologised stating the engineer could not visit as the job he was on was bigger than expected and so was unable to call. We were assured they would visit this morning Wednesday 12 may. No one came. What a surprise!!
I then looked up their reviews, saw how dreadful they were, phoned the company up , relayed my feelings and CANCELLED.
For 4 days we waited for a non existent engineer to visit. What a waste.
DO NOT USE this company, they will simply string you along.

The worst possible company with absolutely no moral compass whatsoever. They came to my house to supposedly reattach a loose cable from my aerial. I was told he couldn't go on the roof because of health and safety.Every other person I have used before have all gone on the roof without any problems. If I didn't know any better, I would have to say he has never been on a roof in his entire life. He charged me 20 pounds to put me through all those obvious lies. Avoid these transgressors like the plague.!

Worst Service Provider
If you are experiencing any problems that this company say they can fix and you see their services offered in your local telephone directory been able to get a tv signal since the previous Wednesday following recent stormy weather. I fully understood that they would be busy dealing with other customers possibly experiencing the same problems as I. Arrangements were then agreed that they would come to my property on Tuesday, 18th February 2020 so I took a full days holiday. At 12 noon I contacted the company to check that I was on their system and I gave them the booking reference which they had provided and I was told that someone would be with me later. I did not hear from them again and nobody attended my property. How can anyone trust a company that is so disrespectful and unreliable they do not deserve to be in business.

Looked at an invoice from this company, charged £189 To re-position a satellite dish to avoid a tree in next doors garden. They charged £69 To re-position the dish £89 To supply a new cable which only went 10 feet where they joined it to the existing cable and £51 for a cable joining kit which consists of 2 F connector plugs a barrell to join the 2 plugs together and a price of tape which they didn't use properly and it allowed water into the cable and shorted the signal out. Don't use this company, as they are untrustworthy

£300 RIP-OFF .
Installed an Ariel in my sister-in-laws ( 83 years old ) bungalow in her loft and giving her a load of crap about this and that and charged her £300 and this is with an OAP discount , this is blind robbery and exploiting an elderly and vunerable lady . what sort of company is this , surely there is some form of regulatory body who can stop this rip-off company . Where we live in the North -East prices are from £30 to £50 so how does this company justify charging £300 in Harrogate . . I bought a top of the range Ariel about 18 months ago and was only charged £25 to erect it on a 2 storey house roof . I just wish she`d had broadband and i definitely would have not phoned this company , i think the next step will to be contacting trading standards , stay well clear of this cowboy company . Just been informed by a neighbour he turned up in a roofers van ???

Wow, I see that I am not the first by a long shot to have a bad experience with this company... Wish I'd read the reviews first!!
Basically, they were incredibly unreliable and messed me around no end, changing appointment times, cancelling at last minute, then quite rude and "couldn't care less" when I tried to complain about the inconveniences they caused.
Watch out for these types of faceless companies pretending to be local when they aren't - do yourself a favour, use a real local company, avoid these types who use Google ads and are basically just a call centre.

Called them and they said someone will call me yesterday. and this guy rang me and said he will come between 3 and 5 pm. I told him to call me 40 minutes before for me in time to be at the flat. As he didn't call I rang him at 4.35 pm and well he said he is busy with another. He didn't even said sorry instead he said what I wanted him to do now. I simply said I get some else. This outfit is and agency who simply get others to do the work and have no customer service. AVOID this company .

I wish I had read these reviews before I called this company. Having a new EE TV box was supposed to be a lovely surprise for my husband who was recovering from cancer. We needed an aerial so I phoned Orbital to help. Yes they put up an aerial, but there was no signal, the picture kept flickering and often dropped out altogether. I called the engineer back out and he basically admitted there wasn't a good enough signal. It was arranged that the manager would ring me in a fortnight when he returned from holiday and discuss a refund. I never got a call - I also did not get a reply to an email, or their online contact form. I have rang twice, (the phone operator was awful) the first time he wasn't in the office and I was told he would call me back - he didn't, and the 2nd time, I was told he was on holiday (again). DREADFUL company. They have £300 of my money and now they are avoiding me. I am gutted losing all that money. They should not be allowed to do this to people.....
Don't use this company
Don't use this company - they quoted for fixing and setting up a TV on the wall. I took time off & waited in on the agreed afternoon and called to ask if they could tell me what time the engineer would arrive - I was told I would be called back. But no one had appeared by late afternoon and no call back so I rang again. I was put through to some kind of supervisor who told me that they had in fact misquoted the agreed price and would not be honouring their quote and no engineer would in fact be calling. He seemed to feel that is was perfectly OK that they had not contacted me or told me that they would not be calling. They offered to do the work 1st thing the next day for more than twice their original quoted price - I opted not to take them up on this!
