AVOID AT ALL COSTS - Damaged items and poor customer service
Very unprofessional and poor customer service. No tracking info was provided before the item was dispatched. The item - an electric bath brush I had bought for my ageing mother - arrived a few days late. The box showed clear signs that it had been opened and the plastic container inside was badly damaged and the item and accessories were wet. I contacted Customer Service to demand a refund and was told that yes, the plastic was damaged but not the items, so a refund wasn't possible. If the package had been damaged or gotten wet, this would be understandable but the box the item came in only showed signs of being opened, not heavily damaged or soaked through.
The likely scenario: This was a returned item that had been repackaged and cleaned up the day it was delivered and the person repackaging it hadn't dried the contents properly. No dispatch notice was ever received (which is poor service for an online vendor) and there was no way I was going to give a possibly pre-used item to my mother, so this will all be heading to the nearest recycling facility ASAP.
