Whenever I call up to speak to these guys they are always courteous and polite even though usually it's user error when trying to find a deal on 27tech. :-)
The 27 tech system is very easy to use and is always up to date when trying to source a mortgage.

We have been 27tec customers for over a decade, a firm of around 100 staff. We use several products including the sourcing and finplan as crm.
We will be customers for a decade more I am sure. Originally looked after by Shannon who was great and now David who is great. Megha always been brilliant as well.
Good people and a close partner business.

Twenty7Tec remains our sourcing platform, with seamless integration within our third-party CRM. It's good to see that they are making big improvements to their criteria sourcing, and implementing new features like ADAPT.
Sophie Holloman in particular has been a breath of fresh air and is an asset to Twenty7Tec.

Brilliant company and people to work with, thanks for your support
We are a large, well-respected IFA firm that's looking to start a mortgage arm. Honesty, Transparency and integrity sit high on our list. We discussed using their sourcing system, additionally they pushed their CRM system but as we already had a CRM in place we didn't want to duplicate work, for obvious reasons. We agreed to trial the CRM to see if it would add benefit. I expressly said if it does not add any benefit, we would cancel it off. This was made abundantly clear. At no point was i told i could not cancel the CRM element or even trial it.....hood winked! After a few weeks, i called to cancel the CRM as it added no benefit and the fact we hadn't even set it up yet or used it in any way. To be met with them waiving a contract saying i was liable for the next 2 years.........reading the comments and reviews it seems a very common issue with these to sell you, then hide behind the contract....where's the TCF - I would highly recommend you avoid.
As an existing customer, i have been trying to contact the helpline for assistance but have tried twice and on both occassions have been left listening to some outrageous music for 45 mins before having to put down the phone due to having an appointment.
Keep away from these fraudsters. They will provide you with false and misleading information but will reveal themselves once you have signed the contract. Their system is also back dated and not fit for current market. I will not be using them.

from my personal experience, think twice before signing up to twenty7tec CRM, formerly known as Finplan. They tie you into a 3 year agreement but bury the outrageous 12 month notice agreement and notice costs in the contract but don't expressly tell you this at the beginning. What they are trapping me to pay for 12 months in order to give notice is astonishingly expensive and I am so disappointed by the way they are treating me, a small financial advisor. It is not what I expected at all. Read the contact very carefully or consider another CRM
The Mortgage Apply is a simple concept but there are too many errors or data is pulled across form the CRM that is not required or is not uploaded correctly to lender sites.
You often validate the information and get nice green ticks to say everything is ok, then when you go to transfer data to the lender there are error messages which do not tell you what or where the error is. It is infuriating!
I have wasted too much time going back and forward with the service team for different cases with different lenders. The system could be a lot more intuitive, and there is as much room taken trying to sell things to the user when more space for the data input area would be a lot more useful. I go direct to lender sites now.
The 27Tec CRM we use has unfortunately been out of date with product updates recently in fast moving market.
The day to day use of the CRM is fine but to get more stars it needs to work in all situations and be up to date all of the time.

Confusing and fails to transfer most of the information across for most lenders. Dont really see the point of it at all.

Despite the current situation I have no confidence that it is always bringing up the most suitable product for my client. Data is not always accurate and 27 tech blame the lender and the lender blames 27 tech. This is not helpful

Service always prompt and professional…..all staff very knowledgable and friendly.
I've been using 27tec for several years now and it's great to see it evolving/improving and now using the Apply part it really cuts down on double keying of applications which really helps speed up applications.
The criteria sourcing function is clunky and inificent to use miles behind their competitors. Their apply feature is also painful to use, looks like it was built 8 years ago and not been updated since. I'm forced to use it as my company is signed up to it, if I had a choice I would avoid at all costs.
