DO NOT USE TWH TRANSPORT
Warning: Do not trade with this place. It was a complete disaster experience for us! Our experience with TWH Transport PTY Ltd. and their manager, Tony Holland, was hands down the worst we've ever had in warehousing or logistics.
First, we work with warehouses in major cities in Australia and other countries. We have a good idea of how much warehouses cost. The price we received from TWH was way, way more expensive than any other warehouses we work with. Worse, I completely understand nothing the numbers they bill me. See the screenshot. I can't verify what those 27 and 12 movements and actions mean! Worse, the pricing is very opaque. I don't know what carton out, movement, action mean. It seems we need to pay a lot of money for moving one box out. No other warehouses that we work with charges money like this! The worst is, we moved in on Apr 13, then on Jun 19, they told us that they wanted to increase the price (see screenshot)! WTx!
The nightmare came when on Jul 20, just 3 months after we moved in, they told us to move out everything by the end of July. They wanted us out and gave us a ridiculously short notice, only 10 days! There were no apologies, no compensation, just a cold one-liner email (see screenshot). We had to cover all the expenses by ourselves. We would not have moved to their place if we knew they being so unprofessional and incompetent. It cost us money to move in (would not have done so if we knew or someone reviewed it), and move out (See the attached final bill from them.)
They don't seem to care about their customer at all. We had a missing item, either from them, or from the courier. TWH/Tony insisted that the courier picked up the parcel. The courier insisted that they did not pick up anything. I don't know who is right or wrong. The thing is that they don't even bother working with us for an investigation (see screenshot). In fact, the very response to our request was a cold eviction notice. How interesting these guys run their business! I have never had any such experience with any warehouse in anywhere on this planet!
Should I also mention that they have ridiculous opening hours? They close at 2:00 PM. Yes, you read that right. This made it so difficult for couriers and drivers to collect anything without major scheduling issues. I had complaints from drivers who spent more than an hour driving there only to find that they were closed! And Tony called me to lecture me, his customer, blah blah blah how they needed time to prepare and etc. It could have been resolved more professionally. Their opening hours are completely unrealistic for any serious business operation. Although most couriers pick up the items in the morning in Sydney, no one guarantees that they would arrive before 2pm during a business day.
TWH Warehouse Sydney — under Tony Holland’s management — is unprofessional. Avoid this place at all costs. Luckily, we were only testing a small batch of our goods and have moved out and said bye-bye to them forever. We deeply regret ever trusting them with our goods.
