I wish I hadn’t bothered!

I sent them some lovely clothes a couple of years ago, they accepted all but one garment and a couple sold quickly but as it was under £15, I didn’t actually receive anything. They would email me every month with an update. It was over the past few months that I realised I hadn’t heard from them in a while and I emailed them but received no reply. Reading these reviews I now know why! Twicely certainly never contacted me to let me know of any changes and they still owe me money for the clothes they sold. I really wish I hadn’t bothered with them and just given the clothes to charity. Poor show Twicely.

Avoid... And avoid other companies associated with them

Only just heard about the ‘break in’ having been emailed by ’Fashion Reseller’ who appear to have bought/transferred my details. So much for GDPR, eh.....
Twicely received my clothes (most of which were brand new and tagged), described them inaccurately, photographed them poorly and sold them for a pittance. I'm now out of pocket. They lack morals and I would strongly encourage people not to have any business with them. Completely untrustworthy....

Terrible company

Terrible company. I haven't been paid for any items I sent though they did report some of them had been sold. They claim to have been broken in to and items stolen but I have had no communication from them. Surely they would have insurance if that was the case and people could have been paid what they're owed? Feel like I've been cheated. I would rather have given the clothing to charity than these immoral people.

Twicely

During the time they were operating, I had to ask them for sales reports. Never actually saw any money come through despite asking.

Didn't hear about the break in until now, didn't get notified at all from the company. In all i've lost around £100.

If you look at Companies House you will see Twicely's director set up a new 'clothing retail' company in November 2018, a month after the break in...suspicious much?

One of the most horrific examples of running a company, terrible customer service (there wasn't any) and very probably a scam.

Unacceptable lack of communication

I had my last sales report in September, and then heard nothing. I was never informed of the break-in until I checked the website. At that point it was too late to reclaim the (very expensive) items I had still listed with them. The lack of communication seems deliberate.

I just find it all very odd

I just find it all very odd. I am 100% sure 6 out of 8 items I sent to Twicely never made it to either their website or eBay. By pure luck I found out about the break in. And then thAt they ceased trading. I am not being paid the £80 I’m owed. It all feels like the biggest con ever!!

I was unable to put 0 stars

I was unable to put 0 stars! Twicely accepted most of my items and sent me two statements saying that some had been sold. However, I have never received the money and, despite emailing them have sonce heard nothing from them.
Extremely disappointed to say the least.

Do not use this company

I have received no contact from this company and no response to my emails. Apparently they have been broken into and items have been stolen. My items are clearly still available
For sale on eBay! Will be forwarding a complaint to trading standards! Avoid this company at all costs!

BEWARE TWICELY!!!!!!!!

If I could have given this company less than one star I would have. Had a few of my items sold by them having seen a fraudulent advert showing the percentage they gave from sales. Never received payment until I emailed for it and only enquired on principle! Earned £1.00 for a pair of Kurt Geiger, worn once wedges that were originally £165.00 and received another whole pound for a pair of £80.00 Carvela pumps which were brand new and boxed.
Stick to Ebay folks then at least you won't be out of pocket when you ask for the return of your items, which I was as you pay the return postage yourself.
The only reason I can fathom that this company is still in business is because they're making hundreds of percent profit from ripping people off. COMPLETE AND UTTER DISGRACE, STAY AWAY!!!
Edited this review as I've just read about 'the break in.' That'll be utter whitewash to match their false advertising! THIEVES WITH A COMPANY LOGO!!!

Addendum: It's also noted that Twicely have threatened customers with legal ramifications in response to poor reviews, so they're not only thieves but bullies also and one poor lady has actually amended her review.

Scam

Send my bag September 12th, got an email saying they’ll get back to me as soon as posible, received another a month later saying they were robbed and that’s why it was taking so long... to this day ANOTHER MONTH LATER, I don’t have an answer, lost really nice clothes that i could have sold by myself...

Used to be great- what’s gone wrong?

I have sold through Twicely for over a year now and initially everything was great- friendly service and prompt payouts. However, I’ve not had a seller report for several months now and even though it appears that they have sold several of my more expensive items I’ve not had confirmation of this. I’ve tried emailing them from several addresses as well as phoning and tweeting them but still no response. I’m very concerned that they have gone out of business owing clients money so I would not recommend anyone sends further clothes to them, even though they have many active items for sale on eBay.

SCAM - Report them to ACTION FRAUD !

I have reported this company to Action Fraud Tel :- 0300 123 2040. I would advise everyone to do the same. You will find them very communicative when you are sending your goods but unresponsive after that. They do not answer the phone (you can see their number on their EBay account 01706 557 360)
They use the same old excuse that people haven’t sent them their bank or PayPal details, it’s just a SCAM. That’s if your lucky enough to get a response.
Please check EBay as I suspect you will see your items listed for sale on there, they have 5139 items currently listed. I have reported this company to EBay as well, they are investigating. I would strongly advise you to do the same.
This company have had over £2199.00 of items from me and I have not received one penny.

I still have not had either a return of…

I still have not had either a return of clothes or any money if they have sold them. A whole bag of designer mens clothes all worth a lot of money and 1 pair of CB shoes. I have been told there was a break in and they dont know whats been stolen. I was told i would hear back early November. Nothing. I asked about Insurance. Nothing. Surely these people cannot just take goods and keep them Its theft. I'd be interested to hear if anybody has received any news from them. No stars from me

I wouldn’t give any stars at all

I wouldn’t give any stars at all! Absolute scammers! They recieved my stuff and said they would be in touch about payments. I’m emailing everyday with no reply. I will be taking this further, absolute disgrace! AVOID AVOID AVOID

We are sorry to have to inform you that we have suffered a major break in and theft at our warehouse resulting in the loss of many of the items that we had stored there.

The theft has caused huge operational and administrative issues which we are still attempting to resolve. However, we have managed to complete a full stock take and are now in a position to notify you which (if any) of your items that we believe have been stolen.

The theft has thrown into doubt the viability of our business going forward and we want to start the process of returning the stock that was not stolen to you. We are also suspending seller reporting and payouts until we are in a position to provide more accurate updates.

We have completed a full stock count of our warehouse and I'm afraid that we don't have any of your items to return to you. I know that this must be distressing to hear and I offer my sincere apologies. Although seller items are left with us at the owners risk you may want to speak to your household insurer so I have included the crime reference for the break in should you be able to pursue a claim - 262 383 T/18

We are genuinely sorry that we can't continue to sell your items and we are devastated that this has happened as we have spent over 6 years working very hard to build up the business.

If you have any questions please get in touch and we will do everything we can to answer them.

Kind regards,

Unresponsive!

Unresponsive! I have used Twicely to sell my clothes for over 2 years. At first I was fairly pleased and actually got payouts and an ok service (though I had to chase for payments).
Now, like other reviewers they have a number of my items, I am due payments and they will not respond to any form of communication. I had an email blaming a theft at their warehouse and issues with their inventory system. I have seen that some of my items have sold. Their email promised an update within 2 weeks to no avail. I would like the money owed to me as well as my items returned.

Absolutely Horrific Experience

I sent a parcel including 32 items to Twicely. They emailed me 2 weeks after receiving the parcel to say they were rejecting the items. Despite stating on the initial form that I would like rejected items to be returned to me, they informed me that they would only do this if I responded to their email. I responded immediately stating that I wanted my items returned. After 2 weeks of chasing, they finally responded to say they will be sending me a bill for the postage via PayPal. I pad the fee of £9.95 as soon as I received the invoice and I have been chasing ever since for them to return my items.

'Hi,
A colleague has now been in touch with you to get your payment details. If you have any questions or need anything else just get in touch and I will do everything I can to help.H'
