I booked my wife's car in for a Major Service & MOT in the Clevedon branch. Car passed the MOT without any problems, but when I examined the bill on getting home, I found I had been charged almost £100 more than the original quote. I queried this & was later refunded the difference, but with no explanation as to what had happened.
I also asked why there was no supporting paperwork to show what had been done in the Service, in the past we have always had a check list that stated things such as tyre tread depth, disc pad thickness, emission test result, etc. I was told they don't do that, even though it was a so called Major Service.
I also checked the tyre pressures & found all 4 tyres were incorrect & at different pressures. The mechanic did however provide evidence of having touched the car, as there were oily fingerprints on the bonnet, tailgate & doors!
I will not be using their services again!

Absolute amateurs. My Son had a tyre fitted that went flat within 3 miles. My Wife had 2 front tyres that both went flat after 5 miles due to being badly fitted. Spent an hour arguing after they tried blaming Mercedes and said it was a cracked alloy, which was rubbish. Take your life in your own hands if you use these charlatan’s.
If I could score a zero I would. Avoid at all costs. Rude and unprofessional.

Tried to scam me in Yate for mot failure work that didn’t need doing, including emissions that when asked for results so I could go elsewhere, was told they had mixed up the results with another car and couldn’t produce them.

They quoted £600 for work that I got sorted for £250 elsewhere. SCAM GARAGE, AVOID.

They had my car twice due to trying figure out why my engine light was on , the first visit told cleared it but if comes back on to bring back and they would do further investigation and when did took back in at 8:30 , I waited to hear from them and no phone call came so rang them just before they closed to get update as guessed maybe bigger job and probably take the next day to fix when called them they said sadly could not fix as electrical fault which is fine I understand they all have different skills set but to no ring me meaning I know have to wait to next available days off to fix somewhere else . They did apologise but don’t take back my day wasted without a car

Staff very rude. Pre booked MOT duration 1 hour. 20 mins working and 40 mins talking to whoever would listen to him. The MOT viewing area was inaccessible (filled with tools and stuff), so I stood outside watching.
When the mechanic saw me he said "what the **** are you looking at".

Update:
Manager rang 23/9/2022. Mechanic claims the bad language was banter with colleagues. When I challenged this as there was no other colleagues around, the manger replied with "if that's how you want to be"

Appalling customer service and woefully inadequate to deal with minor MOT problems

Very good service, excellent prices. Tyres ordered Friday fitted today. They were quick and efficient.

Tyres direct Clevedon. Rude, no customer service skills, amongst other very irritating parts to the experience, they told me my car almost failed it's MOT because of its brake pads and discs and needed sorting asap. When I reminded them that it was actually them that fitted them this time last year, they backtracked on the phone saying it was an advisory that didn't need sorting for another year at least and then when I got the official document there's not one word about my brake pads or discs anywhere. Funny that.

Top quality service from Greg, i asked questions about the tyre i wanted, he gave me feedback and explained the differing rubber compounds etc, ended up going with one he suggested(Maxxi A/T 245/70/16) for my Sprinter campervan... Top service from these guys. Will use again fer sure

Had a loose heat shield on my 2008 Ford Focus. Popped in on the off chance to Tyresdirect Clevedon and they said we’ll have a look. 15 mins later they had fixed the problem. Really good service and would recommend them to anyone.
