Driver cancelled last minute and price increased

I used Uber last week to get to the airport in the morning. The driver accepted the ride but stayed in the same spot for several minutes and then cancelled.
I had to book another ride and the price was noticeably higher by that time. It was stressful since I was on a tight schedule.

Don’t waste your time with uber

If I could give a minus rating I would!
Booked a driver, it was 8 minutes away, then cancelled after 5..I had to book 4 different times and they n the end went with Bolt as they at least were reliable enough. What a uniquely rubbish site uber is! It’s like asking a drunk teenager to come get you, absolutely shocking. Will be deleting this app! Disappointed and disgusted

Why bother reserving

I booked my trip beforehand on purpose. Found out morning of that my driver had canceled. When I was supposed to be picking me up. I had a important meeting and was late due to Ubers incompetence. If you're screwing over the drivers, I guess customers are next in line?!

I would like to share my positive…

I would like to share my positive experience with Uber. The application is very user-friendly and easy to navigate, which makes booking a ride quick and convenient.
The pricing in South Africa is also very reasonable and transparent, which I truly appreciate. It allows me to plan my trips without any surprises.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the service. The convenience, reliability, and quality make Uber my preferred choice for transportation.
