Service required after 3 months of purchase
Bought a 2020 Citroen in Feburary, Matthias was our salesrep, we traded in my old citroen which was highly devalued due to it "requiring service". They kept my new car two days to get it “ready” before pick it up.
3 Months later the service light turns on. I called Matthias to ask "how this is possible? I just bought it." He checks the number plates and says: "it is correct, it needs service! But we can give you a good price! 500kr discount on the service”
I told him I find it very dishonest from him to NOT have told us about it needing service - when it was such an important issue with my old car. I said he should have mentioned this to us, and not hide it. He never apologized. I asked him to have his boss call me.
The boss calls me (Jeppe) and says he was informed about the situation and asks how could he make it better. I said I was not expecting to do any serivce on a car I just bought, and I should not pay for it. That Matthias SHOULD have informed us instead of getting a surprise light in 3 months. He said "that's not how we do things, the best price I can give you is 1,250 kr."
I checked Trustpilot and found out “Julie" responds to all the comments. I tried to call her, and left a message. Her boss calls me back. (I wanted to give them a chance to fix this problem before my trustpilot review.) He said he fully understood and agrees with me that I shouldn’t pay service for a car I just bought. He proceeds to call Aarhus to find out what can be done.
Final call from Jeppe, he says the best they can do is 1,250 kr. I said I was not happy about paying at all, but he refused to do it for free. I took my car yesterday, had it done, and paid the 1,250kr.
In the end I learned that Matthias is just another dishonest salesman, and that Uggerhøj considered 1,250kr more important than having a satisfied customer. I will not buy nor service a car there ever again.

Thank you for your review, although I am sad to hear we did not succeed to make you happy in the end.
The car had all service done by the book - and was set to have a new service in June 2022, 4 months after you bought the car.
We never do a service this long before the service terms states - and would never recommend it to any of our costumers either. You drove 5.000+ km. in the 4 months period, so it was indeed for the best, to wait with the service 😊
We agree that we maybe should have informed you about the upcoming service when you bought the car - and therefore we made a very reasonable price for you – offering you 50% off.
