SCAM COMPANY
We cancelled our trip with Unicorn Transfers after reading such bad reviews. We were promised that the full amount would be refunded within 7 days (we have proof in writing that they promised us this). However, after calling them everyday for the past 2 weeks we still have not received any money back.
Everyday their customer service have told us that their accounts team isn't open at this time 'call back tomorrow'.
We are 99% sure they don't even have an accounts team!
Also, they are so rude over the phone. (continuously putting the phone down and arguing with us)
After no luck we have now contacted our bank to report them and they are helping us get the money back! I suggest anyone who has been scammed by this company contacts their bank immediately.

I had similar experience as Ellen Ribeiro. I booked the trip online two hours before arrival, they cancelled almost immediately, emailing that they will refund the next day. It happened on April 9, so it’s been 30 days and no refund. It is a scam.

I booked this company for a return journey to heathrow for a trip abroad. On the return journey the driver (who was actually really nice and it wasn't his fault) who turned up was not driving an estate car as i had booked. after a long haul flight we had to sit with luggage on our laps. when i contacted customer service for a refund they refused and then didn't even bother to answer my emails. disappointing as the drivers are really nice but i would not book again....

I am still waiting for a full refund from my last trip, I sent already 2 emails and chatted online and they keep ignoring me.
At only 5 MINUTES before the agreed pick up time, I received a call from them canceling my trip! The person on the phone said I was going to be refunded (obviously!) but it's been 2 weeks and I haven't received my money back.
This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional. I was already waiting for my taxi outside with a toddler and my suitcases at 4am, got extremely stressed after the call, having to find a new taxi service to arrive at the airport in time for my international flight.
I am still waiting and wasting lots of time trying to be refunded for the trip THEY canceled at very last minute. They should also cover the price difference I had to pay for my taxi replacement but since they have been ignoring me, I don't think this is a serious company and this will never happen

The driver kept waiting for more than 70 minutes and texted me messages not to worry. I was a little bit nervous about the taxi because due to the fact that the plane was late, the Gatwick Express didn't operate anymore. When we entered the arriving hall the driver was there! We were really relieved!

Terrible experience
I would like to report that this company gave me the worst two episodes for airport trasfer in the same week. The first was the week before this on the 9th of January were my husband had a flight and we were surprised to receive a call from the driver after being waiting for ten minutes later than booking to hear that he will need twenty more minutes to arrive in which my husband asked him to cancel the job and had to urgently get an Uber to avoid missing his flight. Again another episode happened today on the 15th of January were I have booked a transfer for my mother to the airport as she was visiting me after I just gave birth a couple of days ago. I was disappointed with the driver’s attitude as the job was booked for 1:00 pm and I received his call ten minutes earlier saying that he is down and wants me to come immediately as he has another job. I told him that I will bring the luggage and come down. Five minutes later at 1:05 pm he rang me again in a very rude attitude saying that if I don’t hurry up then he will leave. I brought the first bag and when he met me he was very nurvouse. I tried to explain to him that my new born is in the stroller and I need to bring him immediately. He rudely said “do you expect me to wait !!” that was litterly 1:10 pm. I was surprised as i left to bring my newborn that he threw my suit case at the pavement in front of everyone and left at 1:15 pm. The people in the neighborhood were all in shock and one wrote down his car plate number.
I seriously can say that this company’s service is the worst I have had and gave me terrible experience.

Due to the problems caused by the drone at Gatwick I had to make swift arrangements for my family to get from Heathrow to Gatwick. I did this online. The service was brilliant given the stress we had previously encountered trying to get home from Lapland! I was called by our driver Christin Sobanak as soon as we landed so she could let us know that she was ready and waiting and gave us instructions on where to meet. She was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be using this company again.

We were coming from the US for a cruise leaving from Southampton and needed transportation to and from the docks from our hotels in London. Coming from the US we weren't familiar with car services in the UK. After doing an online search, I contacted Unicorn Transfers and was immediately impressed by their responsiveness. As soon as I Googled them, someone was available to chat.The person was very helpful and gave very specific info regarding the costs including taxes and the size car we would need. (Another company had suggested a much larger and more expensive car). I found their prices to be reasonable and even more importantly, I was very impressed with how they communicated with us the entire time. In London,our driver arrived on time (actually a few minutes ahead of time) and called to let us know he was there. The same was true when we arrived at Southampton 2 weeks later. While that driver had also arrived on time, we were delayed getting off the ship and retrieving our luggage. Unicorn called to check on us and gave us the driver's mobile number so we could let him know when we were finally able to leave the dock area. The drivers on both our trips were extremely helpful and professional. Our experience with Unicorn Transfers was extremely positive. We have recommended them to our travel agent and would highly recommend them to anyone needing car transport. The day before each scheduled pick up, they also emailed me to reconfirm the times and pick up location.I think I read they had recently been under new management which is why I think our experience was far more positive than some of the previous raters experiences.

I booked a van from Bristol to Swindon. I paid with Paypal. They first confirmed and then called me for cancelation because of no cover that areas. Why did you confirm if you don’t cover. They haven’t refund my money. They just hand up on me when I call them.

Booked and Paid for Pick up, later that night sent email to say cant pick up client. Was not interested in the trouble they caused, hung up on me twice, 14 days later no refund. Use them at your peril

This Company Should be stopped from Trading and be investigated
Had five people and luggage so booked an hour before intended use (as per their website requirement) and prepaid using PayPal guest. They called and advised that they had absolutely no cars available (I even requested two smaller cars) and advised they would refund. 5 days later I thought I better check that they actually did. They had not. I emailed and got no response, I called and they told me some manager had to do it and they were not in. I told them it should be automatically refunded if they cancel. It’s now over a week and they have not responded to my emails or given me a decent response on phone calls. I am reporting them to PayPal, my bank, the Trading Standards office, Online disputes resolutions and UK European Advice Centre. As if I don’t have better things to do on my vacation.

The driver pulled up illegally on the road at the airport pick up point and we had to tell him to pull over safely to the parking spaces on the side of the road, he tailgated a van out of the Stansted airport car park boom gates and did not pay, he then sped the entire trip into London, reaching speeds of 95 mph (averaging 90 mph) and flicking his high beams on and off on the motorway with other cars around. He also ran a red light in East London. I made a complaint and the company didn’t even have the decency to reply.
