We’re in the process of renovating a whole house, so have been into united carpets multiple times. Both Taylor and Brad are always welcoming, remember us and give us great service. We’ll always go back to them to buy our carpets!

Really really disappointed with these. Arranged a home appointment because we struggle to get to stores being disabled, turned up with no samples only measured quickly and then said they'd call back with a quote when we hadn't even looked at or picked a flooring. Expected a consulation as advertised. Expressed we wanted cheap, as its rented. Was quoted nearly £1200, for a flooring we hadn't even been able to see or look at properly just expected to trust a random to pick it for us. Breaking down the price, expensive underlay was automatically chosen, fitting was loads of different add on prices on top, and the floorly they chose was absolutely not the cheapest option. Went to a different franchise and they listened to what we wanted and gave it to us at a fraction of the cost (hundreds of ££ cheaper!) Because every aspect of their pricing was increased and more than another franchise. Absolutely would not recommend, felt really scammed with ad ons snuck in that i said i didnt want or need, completely unprofessional staff and glad I ignored the quote and went elsewhere.

Not great at all to be honest did not get a call the night before to say the carpet fitter was coming came with no notice had not cleared at the rooms and Ryan did not say we needed new grippers the carpet fitter dillon said we should of we spent alot of money please make sure this gets sent back to the store in lincoln

Overall disappointing. Told it was £60 to the installer on the day when he turned up he refused to take the waste carpet away unless i paid an extra £20 so ruined the whole experience deffo remember stating i wanted the carpet taken away its stupid they dont just take all the money on the same day and have to pay carpet installer seperate. Bs response when the guys in the shop told me a removal was included. Also carpet fitter got glue over the walls from rushing so paid £390 for a job id been quoted 360 for from a previous company and was a done badly

me and my partner came to United carpets yesterday on a recommendation and we were not disappointed. we spoke to their adviser and he was so helpful.from this we have now booked them to measure up to install new carpets for the whole of up stairs landing and stair case.Thankyou Taylor for your help it was very much appreciated. cant wait till they get fitted 😊

It was a stressful experience from start to finish. Did not always feel like some of the staff wanted our custom.
When we went back another day it was better service, carpet measuring was arranged. Then the person who measured seemed nice. But didnt write all request down. So when went to shop to pay deposit did not have lino we ordered or correct carpet.
When trying to set up finance our information was not copied down correctly. So needed to chase up several times.
When fitted the lino had no underneath fitting so all the lino ripped from the first week. Rang up to complain and told someone will ring back but haven't.

I would not recommend United Carpets and Beds Lincoln branch

I was quoted and charged for a Quality, higher priced flooring product, but a different lower-priced click flooring was installed without my knowledge or approval. Fortunately, I identified the difference by checking the product details.

I have raised this issue with the branch but have not received a satisfactory response. Based on my experience, I would advise customers to carefully check that the product installed matches the product they were quoted and invoiced for before making any final payment.

Good customer service, quick fitting & good prices

If you’re ever in the mood to donate your hard‑earned money for absolutely no reason, look no further than this delightful establishment. They proudly advertise “free fitting”, which is adorable, because the moment you actually buy something, they magically discover a dozen reasons to charge you anyway. Truly groundbreaking business innovation.
Their fitters — sorry, over‑priced fitters — will also helpfully convince you to buy far more material than any human floor could ever require. Only after everything is laid will you realise the mountain of waste you paid for. A modern tragedy.
And once they’ve taken your payment, prepare to become completely invisible. Customer service? Follow‑up? Attention? Not in their vocabulary. But don’t worry — they’ll happily point you to the ten‑thousand‑word policy novel printed in microscopic letters on the back of the bill. Apparently that’s their favourite book, because they quote it religiously whenever you raise a complaint.
Oh, and feedback? Don’t bother. They don’t deserve a positive review, a negative review, or even the time it takes to type one. But here I am anyway.
Ohhh sorry to mention they sell decent products anyway.

Great prices. Very helpful staff. Got a date for fitting the carpet on the day we wanted. Got a phone call the day before with a time the fitter would be with us. Very pleased with the workmanship of the fitter excellent job. Would definitely use again and recommend them.

From in store staff to final fitter, an excellent job all round. Communication, assistance and expertise were all top notch.

A big thank you to Bradley the manager who came in personally to repair & fix my new bed.
I had waited for 5 days but he made a promise& finished the job.
I'm very grateful.
