Fantastic experience at UC&B
Fantastic experience at UC&B - Craig came to measure up, rang back later that day with a quote and got us all booked in. Craig kept in contact when the carpet came in and they’ve been able to fit it before Christmas - which was the hope but we wasnt sure if we’d left it too late to book. The fitters were great - we’d just decorated and I’ve heard carpet fitters can ‘scuff the walls’ but ours were left in perfect condition. The carpet is great quality and has transformed the house. Thanks all x

Overall quality and standard of fitting ✅
Went into store, chose a carpet we were happy with asked about fitting and was told they could fit on Saturdays (perfect for us) so went ahead and ordered. Was told we’d get a call in a couple of weeks when carpet arrives to arrange fitting.
So we have the call and all of a sudden they don’t work Saturdays (convenient now they’ve had the money)
I then suggest Mondays would be the best suitable day in the week, was then suggested by United carpets that Monday 25th would be available. I kindly remind them that Monday 25th is a bank holiday. To which he replies “no problem my fitters can work bank holidays”
Perfect all sorted 👍🏻
No not quite….
Get a phone call a week later saying we can’t fit on Monday 25th because it’s a bank holiday 😂😂 laughable
So eventually set on a day couldn’t give us a rough time couldn’t even say morning or afternoon so had to get someone to sit in the house all day and wait but finally it’s done
So although I’m happy with the carpet and how it was fitted etc the customer service leading up to it was shocking so I’ll avoid in the future

Ordered carpet over 6 wks ago and still…
Ordered carpet over 6 wks ago and still not received it let alone had it fitted . I left a voice mail and NO one replied.
Called again few days ago and was told its not in stock yet . The pris that we wasn't informed of thus and it was us that chased it up .it would of been good for a update as was told may take up to 3 wks but this is over 6 wks now

Good but be aware.
We used this company to do 2 rooms for my father in-law who had just had a stroke and was moving into residential. We had 2 end of rolls and was happy with the price. However when it came to fitting the off cuts and rubbish were left in the flat for him to remove. We weren't made aware he would need to discard of the rubbish himself.
