Attractive CD rates, but is it worth the hassle?

I agree with other reviews about the lame technology at this bank. If you can somehow fight your way through their antiquated application process and satisfy the AI that you're not a Nigerian Prince, you can get a decent return. For me, never again. The staff is rude and unhelpful. There are much better banks out there that don't treat everybody like a criminal.

Rigid, outdated onboarding – Stick with Marcus or Raisin

If you are used to the seamless, "one-click" account opening experience of Marcus by Goldman Sachs or Raisin, do not waste your time here. Despite providing a perfectly valid ID and having an established banking history, my application was rejected based on vague "third-party data."

When I reached out for clarification, the response was a generic canned message stating they "cannot override" the system's decision. There is zero transparency, no path for manual verification, and a complete lack of human touch in their customer service.

It is clear that United Fidelity's technology is years behind the industry standard. While their rates might look attractive on paper, the headache of dealing with their rigid, "computer-says-no" logic isn't worth it. Save yourself the frustration and stick to banks that actually value their customers' time and provide clear communication.
