The boxes are always fun with a lot of different types of snacks. It covers salty, sweet and everything in-between. We are always excited to open the box as a family and see what's in it.

Awful! Paid a hefty price to receive sub par products that were also damaged. Contacted support right away and got no response and then contacted them on IG.. when they responded they asked what my email was, which I provided, but then they never answered or followed up.

Don’t waste your money

In January I subscribed to the largest box, of course they take payment up front so you can't cancel when things start going wrong.
The first couple months I was ver impressed & even got a friend a subscription for her birthday.
Fast forward to May & my latest box has gone missing. Went to a city it never should have went to & no updates since. I contacted Universal Yums & all they did was send a generic reply saying to allow 4 weeks for delivery, completely ignoring my issue..

I have had to reach out to them numerous times during my subscription due to shipment. They have no problem charging your card and then "shipping the item" aka making a label and not shipping your item out until almost 2 weeks later. This month was the last straw for my family boxes are supposed to ship out by the 15th and ours has yet to be shipped out. This box was supposed to be a going away experience for my son and us before he left for the summer but it appears we probably won't get it in time. When they respond to your question instead of trying to make it better rthey only quote their policy regardless if it's truly happening or not. My subscription is paused currently and we are debating going with a dlifferent company. There is snackcrate and quite a few other avenues for these snackboxes. Even for the 50 we spent you don't get too much, snack crate is far cheaper.

Don’t pay for expedited shipping. I paid extra for 1-3 day delivery as this was a gift. Order shipped on a Monday. I still did not have my box by Friday. I requested the expedited fee be refunded since it was not delivered between 1-3 days after shipping. Gerard who is one of the CS associates emailed me stating the 1-3 days does not include processing time nor weekends and to let him know when it’s been over 3 business days.

I still did not have my order by Saturday when it shipped on Monday and some how their CS team does not understand how Monday-Friday is 5 business days. They try to do everything possible to not issue refunds even if they have to reply with answers that clearly don’t make mathematical sense.

My kids love when a box arrives, and I love that it helps expose them to different tastes and flavors, as well as a little geography lesson! Now if I can just get them to eat veggies with this much passion…

They made the process of signing up very easily. But my biggest complaint with this company is somehow Mexico got clicked as a box I'm interested in. I never wanted Mexico, I cannot handle any spicy food and most of what comes from Mexico is spicy, so I've reached out to them and told them that there was an error that was somehow made and they said that unfortunately, once you make your selections, you cannot change them. This really upset me because I do not want to pay for a box that I don't want. This is the only downfall that I see so far. And I wish they would fix that. Because we should be able to change the boxes if we want to, if they fixed that little problem, I would give 5 stars.

Most of the boxes we got were nasty. The last box I got was by far the best one. I wish I knew what ones I got so I don't get it again....b

I absolutely love receiving my box every month! Always exciting and Yummy! Wonderful traveling through my order to different countries and trying their snacks!

We have made opening our monthly box a holiday! Our box comes faithfully around the same time each month. The anticipation for all the new delectables that we’ll get to try keeps us so excited! The variety of snacks that we’re able to sample is so fulfilling! Starting a subscription with Universal Yums has created a bond with my family that is priceless. We savor every minute and item!

I have a blind father. We get these wonderful boxes with all the fabulous snacks and drinks to try. I am able to read all the convenient information about the country and all about the snacks that we get to taste. It is a fabulous way to let my father taste the world while we learn about new countries. Love these boxes and we look forward to each month!

The Spain yum box was mostly great. But as always there was a couple that I didn’t like.

Every month I get together with some friends, we sample the snacks and study about the country in which they are from. We learn a lot and enjoy the snacks, it's a fun night.

Poor customer service! We have done other subscription boxes, but never Universal Yum. We didn't like it as much as others, so I asked to cancel my yearly subscription (pay monthly for what I received) and was sent a generic automated reply saying they couldn't do anything to cancel it.

My children and I have enjoyed our monthly subscription so very much! It has given us a chance every month not only to try different snacks from other countries, but to also open up discussions about other countries and learn some geography too. My children have enjoyed finding other recipes and different things they have in common with the country we receive each month. I am so grateful that I stumbled across Universal Yums and took a chance on the subscription!

We love these monthly boxes from Universal Yums. We use this as something fun to do as a couple. We have made videos together with each box and posted them on Facebook and Tik Tok. Our daughter has joined in a few videos. Everyone asks when we are making new videos. It’s something fun and we look forward to each box.

My wife loves snacks, so I tried this out as a Christmas gift more than a year ago. It turns out that every month is a lovely little journey of culture and trivia, I find myself unexpectedly anticipating the box's arrival each month and the surprise factor of discovering what country is next. It's almost like a discounted way of seeing the world, and even our toddler gets to participate (in moderation of course)

We have been getting boxes for several months and it's been so much fun trying the different snacks!

I love this idea of getting to try different snacks from other countries. It is educational and always good!

My family and I just love Universal Yums. It is so fun to experience different cultures and experiment with different foods. We collect the stickers and try recipes. It is something we look forward to each month. I got the subscription for my son for a Christmas present in 2023, and then I continued it because we love it so much. It's an event. We especially love fried egg chips!
