I gave this as a Christmas gift to my kids, but all of us enjoy opening each month’s box. It’s something we look forward to, and do, as a family. Only once has our box been missing one of the listed snacks. I do wish there were two packs of the smaller items since we often have to divide the snacks between four of us. Also, it would be great if there were countries from Central and South America represented some months. So far, the majority of boxes are European countries. Overall, it’s been a favorite Christmas gift to my family!

I bought the subscription as a Christmas gift for my husband and myself, and we are so pleased! It's so much more than just snacks. We open them with friends and we learn about different countries while playing the monthly trivia game. Also, there are recipes from the country of the month, book recommendations and music. It's a great learning experience!

Started in Nov of 2023 and got married in Dec. Our Around the World box came the day of our wedding. Money is tight so we say we are traveling the world for our year long honeymoon. We look forward to the boxes and plan on doing it again. We each keep the package of our favorite and I put them in our honeymoon scrapbook.

Absolutely love this!! My friend and I make videos every box that we receive and just have fun with it!! And the people that stop me that I don't even know to tell me how much they enjoyed our video and how funny they are and not to stop!! Enjoyment for all!!

Got the yum box subscription for my boys as a Christmas present. We all have looked forward to them and enjoy tasting snacks from around the world. Can't travel to the counties so it's rather nice. Only complaint is that the items were a little bigger since sometimes all 4 of us can't try them. We also wanted to buy certain favorites but were not available. Overall something awesome to look forward to every month.

I have had this subscription for 6 months and love it. My husband is an adventurous eater and enjoys trying new things so I started it for a unique bday gift. It always comes on time, it's packaged well, and visually appealing. The information that comes with it is fun to read through. We have also gotten a good variety of foods/places.

Our family LOVES the YUM YUM box!! We have so much fun trying the different snacks from around the world and learning about the country the box is from. My boys are 16 and 19 and they will stop whatever they're doing when that box arrives. Thank you for providing something fun our entire family can enjoy doing together!!

Snacks are yummy and timely delivered. I love the variety. I want more snacks!!!!!!

Universal Yums is something we look forward to every month. My wife and I are big snackers, so it's fun to try the best snacks from other cultures.

I got a subscription for my dad. He loves it! It's a great and unique present; he looks forward to the surprise each month.

Beware of Universal Yums! Their deceptive practices are utterly disgraceful. I was enticed to purchase a Ukraine box on March 18, 2024, believing it was a one-time transaction to support a charitable cause. Instead, Universal Yums exploited my goodwill to trap me into an unauthorized subscription, charging me $35.50 without my consent on April 12, 2024.

When I discovered this and reached out to request a refund and cancellation of the subscription, they shockingly refused. Their excuse? Once a box ships, they claim it's impossible to issue a refund— a clear sign of their disinterest in fair customer service or ethical business practices.

This company’s willingness to leverage a humanitarian crisis for profit, only to then deny any responsibility when caught, is appalling. Anyone considering Universal Yums should think twice. Their operations are a disservice to the spirit of genuine charity and customer respect.

Even though we may not like or finish every snack we get, me and my 9 year old son look forward to our box every month. He knows exactly what day it's supposed to come, and get impatient if it takes a couple more days because of weather or holidays but it's always worth it. He becomes a little food critic and we have lots of fun. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun activity to do with there kids. 😀

We LOVE Universal Yums! It makes it so fun for our family to study and learn about different countries.

We have enjoyed getting our monthly boxes and make it a "special" night to open when no one has to work the next day so we can take our time and really taste and experience the different snacks... with the 3 of us, we have 1 person who reads about the snack, the other person portions it out to everyone, and I read the label about the serving size/calories etc! We make it a learning experience into the different tastes we wouldn't normally have an opportunity to try.....I recommend it...

My husband and I love doing this every month with our five kids. It started as just a Japan thing with a different service, but we chose Universal Yums going forward to get the different countries. It’s the one activity that every single kid looks forward to (finding something that all five enjoy is no small feat). My only request would be that there would be more of the smaller things (like the candies) because some are hard to cut to share.

This is a wonderful concept and they execute it brilliantly. Not only is there a fun packet of brightly colored info on the country and Candy of the month included, with stickers and trivia for younger family members - the snacks are divine. When my son is with me it’s the perfect box to share - and when he’s not: it’s the perfect box for just me. But last time I took some of the treats to neighbors, and they thought it was so cool. And yummy.

It is so easy to setup. And very tasty with a fun trivia book.

We so look forward to this box each month! As a married couple with young kids this has become our monthly date night in. It’s so fun to try some of the interesting foods and read about different countries cultures and facts. It’s a great opportunity to culture ourselves and have a night to bond as a couple with our busy lives.

I have found the choices in the box to be kind of blah. They seem to be mostly sweets. When I signed up for the subscription I thought we would get more of a variety of things. Not just sweets and chips. There truly has a potential to be some Amazing things to try. I find it has fallen short the last 3 months. I am truly considering canceling my subscription.
