Went into the Milton Keynes Branch for a gait analysis and cannot thank Richard enough. He was very polite, helpful and couldn’t do enough to teach me and explain what I need in order to start racking up my miles before my two half marathons this year.
Thank you!

Can’t rave about this shop enough! Incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, professional. I needed new running shoes and Ricky at Up & Running in Sheen offered a full gait analysis, first with my old running shoes and then with each new pair I tried on. There was a wide selection and I found the pair that best suited my aging feet … and they were on sale! Truly the whole experience harkened back to a bygone era when personalised professional service was available locally. Thank you Up & Running in Sheen!

I visited the Barnet store to have a free gait analysis as recommended by my physio in treating Plantar fasciitis. I had an exceptional service all round. Max was very knowledgeable, professional as well as patient and helpful in carrying out the gait analysis and went that extra mile in giving great advice for my condition based on his knowledge and personal experience. I also tried a few shoes based on his recommendation for my condition and there was no pressure to purchase.
Both Max and Tom were friendly as well as good listeners helping me fulfil the main reason for visiting the shop. I left the shop feeling good, I had learnt a lot about my condition, shoe types and the type of specific shoes to consider for my health. I would definitely return to purchase shoes from the shop.
I highly recommend this shop which opened only 3 months ago (with many vegan options), and wish them every success.

I had a brilliant experience at Up & Running in Barnet. Tom was excellent from the very first contact by email and just as helpful in person.
The service was thorough, friendly and never rushed. There was a great selection of running shoes to try, and every suitable pair was properly tested on the treadmill. My running was recorded and clearly explained, so I could understand exactly what they were looking at and why certain shoes worked better for me.
It’s obvious that the team really know their stuff and genuinely want to help you find the right shoe rather than simply make a sale. A fantastic shop in Barnet with knowledgeable staff and a very professional approach.
Highly recommended!

Ordered and paid for 6th July. Sent 7th July, but never received. Now waiting for paperwork from courier (DPD) being sent by post, in order to proceed with resend. Another order from different supplier, lost at same time, already been sent out. Not the best service.

I needed new running shoes for my upcoming half marathon so made a spontaneous decision to go to Up & Running in Chester… I’m so glad I did! The staff were amazing, knowledgeable and patient (and the shop was full!). I came away with the Brooks Glycerin GTS23s and am super happy. I’ll definitely go back for my next running shoes 👟

Sue was so helpful in finding me suitable supportive trainers with arch support for my flat feet. She was really efficient and helpful and I am really relieved to have good footwear to help reduce any further damage to my ligaments from ill fitting and less supportive shoes. Thanks so much Sue :)

Really friendly and knowledgeable staff, felt genuinely listened to and my unique quirks (injuries and dodgy joints!) were considered whilst deciding on a new shoe. We will be back soon, for my husband to get new shoes and I will undoubtedly browse the clothes. As a non-runner who has tried a number of times to get into the sport, I didn’t feel the least bit dismissed - in fact I think I’ve been convinced to join my local park run 😅

Mark helped my partner and me find the correct shoes. The most important thing is to find the correct shoes! Every pair of shoes is not for every person! Up and running are experts in helping people find the correct shoesI highly recommend them.

I am 62 years old and still enjoy running, recently I’ve noticed my foot is rolling in so went into Basingstoke Up and Running store. I spoke to Paul who recommended several different trainers which may help. I’m now back running and a lot more comfortable and confident wearing my new recommended trainers. Thanks Paul you know your stuff

Horsham store, Kelly (we’re sure that was your name, it began with a K, but it was a Friday afternoon and you were amazing!)
My son and I are doing a half marathon in October and wanted some advice on kit and training. Kelly was so helpful and honest about things, all based on her own experiences and those of club and community runners that she works with. Absolutely first rate service and unreservedly recommend Up and Running to others like me…

I'd used Up and Running the last time I bought running shoes. I had a high expectation and was not disappointed. Richard who served me is a very experienced runner and expertly answered all of my questions. He wasn't 'selling'at all though I was expecting that. He was purely advising and willing to let the sale go if he couldn't provide the shoes I was looking for. This took a while as I tried on about five pairs then ran on the treadmill with the ones I liked. I ended up running with one type on one foot and a different one on the other and am really happy with the choice I made and it turned out they were discounted so I spent about £35.00 less than I expected. There were no other customers so we ended up chatting about running for a while after the sale. His colleague was very friendly too. Couldn't recommend Up And Running highly enough.

I've recently taken up running, and the one piece of good advice I've received was to invest in a good pair of running shoes. Online, the choice is bewildering, so I paid a visit to the Darlington store for some advice. The service I received was exceptional. I was taken through every aspect of what to look for in a good shoe, saw a video of my running style taken on a treadmill, and I tried several pairs of shoes to find the best option for me. A complex subject was made simple because of the knowledgeable colleague (the receipt says I was served by Simon); it's very clear that everyone who works there is a runner who knows about their subject. Absolutely top-class service, and a perfect demonstration of how a high street store can surpass the online experience. I'm very happy with my new shoes, and would recommend this store to anyone.

I had a fantastic experience at Up & Running. Leroy provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. He listened carefully to what I needed and was incredibly patient, making sure I found the right pair of trainers for the gym.
Using the latest foot-measuring technology, he carefully assessed my feet and explained everything clearly. He took the time to ensure the fit was just right and never made me feel rushed. His knowledge and expertise made the whole experience enjoyable and gave me confidence that I was choosing the best trainers for my needs.
Thanks to Leroy's professionalism and attention to detail, we found the perfect pair. I would highly recommend Up & Running to anyone looking for expert advice and excellent customer service. Thank you, Leroy!

We have been shopping at Up & Running in Nottingham for many years and have always had fantastic service. Emma, Rob and the team are always so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, but they are never pushy. The shop carries a great range of products as well.

Sarah at the Chester store was very helpful, as someone who tried running once a year ago, hurt my knee and stopped, she got me sorted out with a decent pair of shoes (Saucony Guide 19’s if you were wondering) after much trying on of various models and running on the treadmill in the shop. I have since completed my first two runs of the C25K program with minimal knee pain and am exited to continue.
Annoyingly, I have since had the trainers advertised to me online at a lower cost than what I paid in-store, but I would say Sarah’s help and advice was worth the small premium paid.
