Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 160 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people encountered significant issues with the company's products, including bugs, graphic errors, and games becoming unplayable or disconnecting frequently. Customers also expressed frustration with the customer service, describing it as unhelpful, unresponsive, and difficult to reach a real person, especially when dealing with account recovery or technical problems. The user experience with the company's app and website was consistently criticized, with people reporting problems like infinite loading screens, crashes, and difficulties accessing their game libraries or account information. Many found the launcher to be problematic, forcing downloads, logging them out frequently, and making it challenging to play games they had purchased. Some people also felt that the company prioritizes security in a way that hinders customers from recovering their own accounts, even with proof of ownership.

Constant problems with logging. I don't remember when it was different.

Constant problems logging into account. Previously, the app would log me out every few days. Now, a new quirk: it keeps asking me to CHANGE my password every day because it's suspicious... something. It's practically impossible to figure out the problem — I have to contact support and wait for them to respond. (Most likely, it's because I move to another country, and trying log in from there). Change region can be done ONLY through support. However, I've never had this problem with any other launcher from any other company. Ubisoft Connect is a 10-year-old dump. They lure you in with discounts, but then you literally can't start playing the game for 40 minutes because of problems with their app.

Would give 0 stars if I could.

★☆☆☆☆ — Would give 0 stars if I could.

Where do I even start? My original Ubisoft account — with hundreds of dollars worth of games on it — got hacked. You'd think a company this size would have your back, right? Wrong. I contacted support and had to wait DAYS just for a reply, only to be told they couldn't do anything. Then they just closed my case. Hundreds of dollars, gone, and Ubisoft basically shrugged.

So I made a new account and had to repurchase my games out of my own pocket — including Skull and Bones. And what do I get for my trouble? My new account gets flagged for "suspicious activity." I'm the one who got hacked and I'M the one being treated like I did something wrong?

After fighting through all of that, I finally managed to get back into Ubisoft Connect and now the game won't even launch. I literally cannot play the game I paid for — twice.

Abysmal customer support, zero account security, bugs on top of bugs, and a game that doesn't even work. Save your money and your sanity.

AVOID them, and use another platform.

After being a customer for many years, I expect better. Ghost recon Breakpoint stop working for both my self and a friend. I spend hours troubleshooting. In the end I repurchased to see if that would fix it. It did not. Within 2 days (and zero playtime) I asked for a refund, and after several emails I was denied. This is robbery. AVOID them, and use another platform.

Good if you're a hacker

Had my account hacked, they managed to change the email address.
Contacted support only to be told there was nothing they could do
Absolutely useless, won't be having anything to do with these crooks in the future.

BRUH

BRUH.
I bet it would be easier to fly a plane with no training than it would be to do something as simple as create an account with ubisoft. I have been trying to create an account for 2 hours just so I can play Breakpoint (which I can't do without creating a ubisoft account) but FK ME! FIX YOUR SHT!

Like many of the reviews here I too have been logged out of my account and am having an endless battle with customer support.

Customer support cannot provide a functioning account recovery form and instead keep deferring me to a broken article link.

I guess that means after being an Ubisoft customer for over a decade I have in one moment been locked out forever! Thanks for memories I guess!

It's a horrible company with bad business practices that's why their company is dying. I don't know why you would make people sign into an account to play a game but that's besides the point. Their money hungry that are two corporate and have gotten too far away from what it means to make good video games

We have been trying to resolve an issue…

We have been trying to resolve an issue with my son’s Ubisoft account since last summer. The account was set up with an incorrect email, which we cannot access, and this has prevented us from verifying or updating the account.

Despite contacting Ubisoft Support multiple times (case #24034758), we have yet to receive a resolution. My son has had to create a new account just to play on PC, but he is eager to regain access to his original account which contains his existing content, including Rainbow Six Siege progress.

We are extremely frustrated by the lack of response and resolution and hope Ubisoft will urgently assist us in recovering the account.

Rainbow six siege is a sad excuse of a game. A small update and IMMEDIATELY my fps completely tanked and I’m stuck in settings. This is a ranked game, and it without a doubt reduced the chances of us winning the round, resulting in a loss. I am also playing players high above me in the ranked system.
