Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Considering 3,171 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people reported significant problems with delivery services, including lost or delayed packages, inaccurate delivery dates, and false delivery attempts even when customers were present. Reviewers also faced considerable frustration with customer service, finding it difficult to contact a real person, encountering unhelpful automated systems, and often receiving conflicting information from staff described as rude, unhelpful, or incompetent. However, some customers also noted positive interactions with individual staff members, describing them as patient, professional, and providing excellent customer service at specific locations.

Absolute nightmare

simply wanted to get a shipment out with return label. It was sincerely one of the most frustrating experiences I had in a long time, customer service was pointing me in all directions except the right one. after an hour on the phone I cancelled my order as we weren't getting anywhere and im not even hoping to get my 30 dollar back, totally given up and will never use again. Stay clear if you don't want to instantly have your day ruined.

ups: where basic service standards go to die

UPS has, in my experience, demonstrated an alarming and persistent failure in basic service reliability, transparency, and customer communication. Whenever a retailer elects to use UPS as its carrier, I immediately anticipate unnecessary complications, prolonged delays, and a complete lack of meaningful accountability. The recurring pattern is not merely inconvenient; it reflects a serious deficiency in operational competence and customer care.

In this instance, the package reportedly departed from a facility located only one city away, yet I was left waiting for approximately twelve hours without delivery. I was advised that the package would arrive no later than 9:00 p.m. That deadline passed without delivery, without a substantive update, and without any credible explanation. More concerning is the expectation that customers may be required to answer the door and provide a signature as late as 10:00 p.m. In my opinion, this raises legitimate personal safety and security concerns, particularly for individuals living alone or those who may not feel comfortable opening their doors at such a late hour.

When I contacted customer support seeking clarification, I was met with dismissiveness rather than professionalism, transparency, or a genuine effort to resolve the matter. The interaction left me feeling as though my concerns were being trivialized and my intelligence insulted. A delivery company entrusted with customers’ property should be capable of providing accurate delivery estimates, timely updates, reasonable delivery practices, and respectful customer support. Based on my repeated experiences, UPS has consistently failed to meet even these fundamental standards.

UPS deserves negative stars

If I could put negative stars on UPS I would. I sat home all day waiting on a UPS delivery that needed a signature. Yes I could have done a digital signature but we have had issues in the past with drivers leaving packages in random locations (street, woods, barn). I have 4 dogs so when someone knocks on the door I know it. At 3:35 I get an email that they were unable to deliver because no one was home. Call customer service. Get someone who is probably in the Philippines. Takes 15 minutes to get her to understand the issue and finally tells me my package is at the UPS Store, go there, my package is not there and might be there tomorrow. UPS has the absolute worst drivers, this is not the first time they have lied about attempting delivery and their customer service is useless.

UPS has insane additional tariff fees

I bought a baseball hat from Canada for $35. Tariff was $9. UPS tariff fee was $24 if prepaid, $36 if I paid on delivery. What an absolute joke. I will be asking who the shipping company is before I make any future purchases. The crooks at UPS won't be seeing another dime from me!

UPS HAS TWO PACKAGES 1 LOST AND 1 LATE!!

I am missing TWO orders that should have been delivered to my home. I have tried SEVERAL different ways to get answers to no result! The reps on the phone know NOTHING and good luck contacting the company by phone or email because you cannot reach anyone that can or will help! They have set themselves up just that way so you CANT COMPLAIN to anyone who can help! My first package arrived in Haslet TX last Thursday at 5:40AM. Haslet is 15 miles from my home in Flower Mound TX. Normally UPS would have delivered my package on Friday - the next day. That is based on 10 years of doing business with them - BUT NEVER MORE!!
Today is Tuesday and my package is still supposedly sitting in Haslet as of this minute. Last Tuesday they offered to upgrade my package for FASTER delivery and they charged me $7.95. Some faster delivery!! Still no package as of now! That package was part of our trip we leave on tomorrow morning. Now we don’t have it and no one knows where it is???? Add this to a second order they had that we escalated at another $7.95 and should have been delivered by TODAY that says tomorrow- tentatively?? Now we leave without either order and no one to watch our home for packages!! I tried to request they hold any and all packages till Friday and they wanted ANOTHER $9.95???? What a racket for LOUSY SERVICE!! I will now be using FED EX AND AMAZON for all orders! Ripoff and lousy services!!!

How do you like the way TELUS / KOODO…

How do you like the way TELUS / KOODO delivered my replacement cell phone today by UPS 😮 How disrespectful.

I strictly asked that there be a signature on delivery, and I've been waiting all day for it. There was NO knock on the door from the delivery guy or girl !! I wouldn't have known my package arrived until I stepped outside for a bit. I looked down and bam !! There was my phone. I opened the box to find no bubble wrap or protection to keep it from rattling around.

Sure, my new S26 Ultra was in a thin box the size of the phone, but nothing to protect it. I paid $750 for this replacement, and the least they could have done was respect the request of a signature, to make sure the phone was secured and to keep it from moving around in an oversized box.

I got a notice that my replacement cell phone would arrive on July 08, 2026, sometime during the day. I waited around ALL DAY, no one showed up. Then I got an email indicating that they will deliver my cell phone by UPS on Monday, July 13, 2026, sometime during the day.

My first S26 Ultra was a dud that overheated, poor quality camera. The screen would black out if I used it for more than 10 mins ?? I've had nothing but problems with it, more than I got use out of it. I sure hope this replacement will give me more pleasure than disappointment, yet by the way it was delivered. I sure hope it wasn't thrown around or a dud, and I hope I will be happier than the first.

Uggg and if it's a dud.. I don't know what I will do. Some people are so rude and disrespectful, like this company/server and UPS. ~ Suzanne Auclair

This company is yet another trash scam…

This company is yet another trash scam company, now they'll make an attempt to deliver your package hours before your business opens, so they can prompt you to pay money for the subscription that allows you to make changes for free. Otherwise when they screw up a delivery like this now you have to get charged to make a change so they can get it to you correctly. There's no place where I've said they can't leave my package at my business. They just don't because they want to make it a pain in the ass So you can feel like you're blessed with all the rewards of their subscription. Pure garbage. Never used to be an issue, But these greedy parasites that run all institutions in the modern day put 100% of their energy into how they can milk people for everything they are worth and then some. Thanks UPS, I hope you all leave this place slowly to cancer. That would be poetic Justice

Avoid UPS at All Costs

If I had the option to give a negative rating, I would. But there it is a 1star.
This company is full of unprepared and incompetent people. Every department seems disorganised, and nothing works as it should. They couldn't even handle a straightforward import process properly, nor did they make any effort to treat their customers with courtesy or respect.
After this terrible experience, I will avoid buying from any company that uses UPS for deliveries.
To make matters worse, they overcharged me for VAT and then told me that I would need to contact HMRC myself to request a refund. They even had the audacity to offer to do it on my behalf for an additional fee of £84. It's unbelievable. They seem determined to leave customers as dissatisfied as possible by the end of the process.
Absolutely unacceptable service, and I would not recommend UPS to anyone.

2 day service took 12 days

My 2 day shipping turned into 12 yes TWELVE days! The 'customer rep' also completely bold face LIED to me at day 9 to say it would be delivered that day by close of business and the second rep I talked to on day 11 said the same. NEVER AGAIN UPS! OR any business that uses your services!

I have never used UPS in my life but I…

I have never used UPS in my life but I needed a truck key sent to me from Denver to Colorado Springs I had my friend in Denver send the key to be delivered to my house instead the delivery driver left me a note and took it back to the store. I have no idea why it couldn't just be delivered it was not high value. Apparently the store tells me that I have signed up for some program for all of my packages to be returned to the store forever. It's strange to me because I've never used UPS in my life like I said. They have utterly failed at the one thing they're supposed to do just bring me my package now I have to cross town with no transportation and take a day off of work and that's after I made four phone calls to try to have it resent to the original address. The local UPS Store could not comprehend my request and thought that I was trying to order a new delivery. This company absolutely has its head up its tail and is a complete failure!

I paid 17.95 for a $1.74…

I paid $17.95 for a $1.74 part that I really needed. Finally get the tracking and it says will be delivered between 315 and 7:15 PM much later than I had hoped considering I ordered it on Thursday and today was Monday. To make matters worse I tracked the package and I saw that the UPS truck was pulling into the UPS store where I promptly jumped out and asked if I could grab my package as my driver was getting the package another driver came out and said we’re not allowed to do that you’ll have to deliver it to the address. It could’ve saved me a ton and it would’ve been a long way for customer experience however, UPS being UPS they’re terrible always have been always will be I guess I use other carriers first and foremost every time and only if I have to use UPS will I ever again. First of all, this is the only place you could review UPS so all of the comments are negative because there is no other outlet for others to say what they need to.

Ups supports racist employees because the business allows employees to work there in the front after displaying bad behaviors. Í will never use this service again. You won't either after this happens to you!

If I could put a zero star- I would

If I could put a zero star- I would.

I shipped home a package from a Bucket List Vacation that I have been dreaming to take for more than twenty years. There is over $1,000 worth of merchandise and camp gear in the box. The UPS pickup person never bothered to scan the package, and now it has been nearly two months and they won’t even go search the warehouse to find it. Customer service throughout experience has been dreadful. Zero accountability. Horrendous service.

UPS can’t be bothered to ensure their drivers scan items, and then can’t be bothered to even look for the package in warehouse. They stole my personal items and failed to make attempts to return them after charging $215 for shipping fees. Do not ship with UPS.

My wife and I are both in our 60's

My wife and I are both in our 60's. She ordered a queen size mattress by mistake (she needed a full size). We loaded it into the car, took it to UPS to return, unloaded it and took it inside only to find out their computers were down. We took it back out and loaded it back into the car. Two days later we returned to give it another chance. We made sure the computers were running this time. We unloaded the mattress into a nearby shoppiing cart and took it in. They charged us for the return and then insisted I had to take it out of the shopping cart myself and put it on the floor for them. The box was clearly marked as being heavy, requiring two people to move it. There were two young people working there. My wife has tumors in her leg and was unable to assist me, so at 68 years old I had to lift the mattress out of the cart for them.
