From small beginnings The UPVC Company is now one of Scotland’s largest window & door installers. Over 20 years ago Jim McGill recognised that companies were charging highly inflated prices for UPVC windows and doors. With a loan from the Prince’s Trust he started to manufacture windows & doors from a small unit in Uddingston and offered Customers a top quality product at realistic prices. The business went from strength to strength and within 5 years moved to bigger premises to meet demand for their products. The UPVC Company now employs over 70 people and all doors & windows are made using some of the latest technology and production techniques in their bespoke factory in Wishaw. The materials used in manufacture are to British Standards or higher and all products are made to the latest safety and security standards and are fully guaranteed for TEN Years. All windows have gas filled energy efficient low E glass & warm-edge spacer to further reduce heat loss saving not only money but also reducing energy usage in the home. As well as windows, over 500 door styles are available and we also have a full range of French, Patio & Bi-fold Doors to give you easy access to your garden so you can take maximum advantage of the spring and summer weather. We cover the Central belt of Scotland and have supplied over 200,000 customers with new windows and/or doors. The company's sales and installation teams are highly trained in identifying the best product for each customers’ needs and making sure that the whole process runs smoothly from start to finish. “We never compromise on quality and part of the service is that customers are not asked to part with a penny until they are completely satisfied. Excellent service and price
Excellent service, communication and price would be the summary basically.
From the initial estimate/measurement, final measurement and booking of the fitting all communication was very prompt and professional.
The fitting was completed in a day and a half rather than the two days estimated.
For 13 windows the price was excellent and the overall fitting and service was first class.

Got great advice when choosing my door…
Got great advice when choosing my door in the showroom and soon had a call to arrange fitting day. Workmen were outstanding and completed work within couple hours and tidied up afterwards. Service was quality from start to finish and a pleasantly quick turnaround as well.

Outstanding Aftercare/Repair
I had a door and side panels fitted a few years ago. I have encountered a few issues and when I’ve needed to call, Colin has been out to sort. No if’s and’s or but’s. Class service. The warranty given is as good as gold. I’m delighted. Colin is efficient, expert and an absolute pleasure, a credit to your company.

Ordered a window online and paid for it, received email saying it was being processed, waited 3weeks with no update, called the office said they would get somebody to call me back the next day, no call back waited another week called office again said they had finished early had it was a Friday and he would pass a msg on, next morning received a refund with no explanation, emailed for some info on why I got a refund and not my window I ordered with no reply, 4weeks wasted an no window

Superb! This company gave the best price after we did a load of research with others. The salesman was really down to earth and not pushy. Jim and Colin came to our home to fit two doors, they were firstly very decent guys and secondly expert craftsman. I really could not fault either of them, the entire experience has been excellent and I would highly recommend without hesitation!

Straightforward process, ordered a composite door using the brochure. Everything arrived as expected, and the final install looks great.
The guys who came to install were done in a couple of hours, removed my old door and left the place spotless!

From Initial pricing by a friendly and knowledgeable salesman Iain , "No Hard Sell",
The surveyor came out the next day, and quickly and efficiently measured up.
The Installers arrived and few weeks later and worked methodically and efficiently installing a bedroom window, and a New Patio Door.
The whole area where they had been working, was cleared and cleaned and rubbish removed. Thank You.
