This company is a joke. I've tried contacting them several times and nothing. They owe me $425 for a core charge. I've opened 3 tickets and no reply. I'm about to dispute the charge and let them take me to court

Please research this company before purchasing. I was foolish and did not fully research. They are associated with Southwest engines, there is a serious question about whether or not they are actually based in Wisconsin. A further search shows criminal charges against the company in Wisconsin.
I purchased from Remanns, was invoiced by Southwest engines, and a used engine was shipped from a junkyard in Oregon. I had cancelled within 11 hours of placing the order, they shipped the engine anyway, and in spite of my immediate report to my bank, the cancellation and restocking fee is structured such that my bank was unable to return 25% of the purchase price per Visa's policies. My only remedy would be to file a case in small claims court. Further , the woman from Southwest Engines was Less than helpful and borderline rude as I tried to work with them on a cancellation. Please Do Not make the same mistake that I did.

Please stay away from this company, they are rude and have a horrible attitude. Plus if you research them online you will find clients with defect products, overbilling and fake clients. If you buy something from them you will be sorry! That's guaranteed with a 7-year plan

This is a scam. I purchased an engine from them on the 2nd of Jan for $2245. They charged my credit card and said it was going to be a 7-14 business day delivery. On 22nd of Jan, twenty days later, I called to follow up and get tracking information, they told me that they were still waiting for the shipping company to pick it up. My car was sitting at the mechanic shop the whole time and I was charged storage. I asked them to cancel the order and on the 22nd of Jan, I received an email from them confirming the cancelation. They were supposed to process my refund right away, but I never saw the refund on my credit card statement. Five days later I called again asking about the refund, they said they were sending it and it will take two days to get processed. I finally see a partial refund from them on the 28th of Jan for $1,683.75. Now I filed a dispute with the credit card company. Be aware of this fly by night company. They are scammers. I will never buy anything from them again.

Do Not do any business with this company, just received the piece of junk I already paid for, the warranty is a complete joke, the motor has (5) broken bolts in the block and a hole in the manifold , haven't checked the compression yet,, we are really afraid of what we may be looking at, stay as far as you can AWAY from remanns motors

AKA SWEngine: These people are thieves. I paid for an engine and when it got to the shop it would not start. The shop tested the engine and said that each cylinder only had 25 psi. I contact the warranty department (Scott Green) and h\after repeated calls and emails he said that a replacement engine had been sent. After 14 days SWEngine has not sent me a tracking number and the engine has not arrived at the shop where I had it sent. Today when I call All I got was voice mails again, so I do not believe that I will ever hear from them again until I engage a lawyer.

Update: 12/01/2017 Second engine shipped also defective. Cylinder #3 only had 50 psi of compression.
