Motion revolutionized my workflow. I run a production company; I have lots of different tasks in various stages running for a multitude of clients at any given time. With Motion, I setup projects and tasks, give items a deadline, priority, and estimated time to complete and Motion takes care of the rest. I don't have to worry if a project is going to meet a deadline anymore - in fact, most projects run ahead of schedule!

I am still learning about how to use Motion, and there are so many capabilities I feel I'm just scratching the surface. The onboarding is very helpful , having some tasks already created to help you understand how it can work, and to lead you to create projects and explore the capacities is very helpful. I am in the early stages of building my structure but am looking forward to having that in place in time for 2026 so that for next year I will have everything in one place, easy to track and manage my workflows.

I like how easy it is to see my tasks for the day with my events. I also appreciate how responsive the Motion team is to my questions and the all the tutorials available. The only thing I wish was that I could get all my clients to use it, it would make managing my projects 100x easier.

Motion has been a fantastic experience. Like all programs, there is a small learning curve and you have to commit to the program. However, once you do, Motion sets your schedule so you can move from one task to the next. As someone who suffers from task paralysis when I have too many competing projects, motion takes over that thought process and allows me to just get to work.

Does good with scheduling multiple tasks within multiple projects. But it has quite a few obvious UX/UI problems, which, I hope, eventually will be fixed.

The “Agents” part is practically useless.

I have been using motion for a few months now, and its fantastic. I have used AI note takers before but my issue was what to do with all of them, the meetings were all separate so no way to group them together and the tasks that I had to do would end up in a list here or an email there etc, that all changed with motion. I love how i can go into a meeting, it spit out a summery (with a video as well for me) and the action points i can just click to add to my list, it then fills in my calendar with tasks based on importance, deadline etc and if i miss doing it at that time it just keeps moving it in my calendar until I complete. I also love that if i schedule a meeting it will just move my tasks for me. I know there is more to explore with this product that makes it even more valuable but this is just so good for my productivity.

Great software that is extremely useful.

Areas of improvement:
1. The price is a bit high.
2. Some of the pop-ups (task previews) can get in the way when you try to mouse over tasks and move them.
3. I think more settings could be provided to tune what Motion optimizes for when developing the schedule. For example, should motion try to minimize the number of overdue tasks, or minimize the maximum number of days for which any task is late? I get the sense that the Motion algorithm minimizes the number of overdue tasks, although this sometimes comes at a cost of having a handful of tasks that are scheduled extremely overdue. Minimizing the maximum number of days for which any task is late would mitigate this issue.
Other than these things the software is great and I would recommend, especially if you're a student.

Absolutely LOVE Motion! I use it for work, keeping up with calls, and staying ahead of schedule with all things work and personal life. Highly recommend it! It will make your life easier.

I accidentally re-signed for a free trial I’d already used (note to self: always double-check before signing up again!). Really great experience in helping me wrangle all my calendars and get productive

I have loved the motion app thus far. The only complaint I have is that it was advertised that we could add on the virtual employees but when I inquired, I was told that this was not an option for accounts that were already established. This is a key feature that I am looking forward to experiencing.

This company told me I could extend my trial for 7 days — which I did — and then they randomly charged me over $700 for something I never even subscribed to. No reminder, no notice, nothing. When I tried to get a refund, I reached out 4 times by email and through their support page and still got no reply. Feels like a borderline scam with zero customer service.

Motion has completely changed the way we manage projects and day-to-day tasks. It takes the overwhelm out of juggling calendars, emails, and reminders, and actually makes it easier to get important things done. The automation is a lifesaver and we feel way more in control of our time.

Motion has permanently eliminated a constant worry from my mind: “Will we finish the project on time?”.
I work on multiple complex projects for various clients, and any unforeseen event forces me to readjust many pieces of the puzzle.
But thanks to Motion's AI management of my projects, I always know if I'm going to make it, and if not, what I need to adjust to get them back on track. Indispensable.

I've been using The Motion App for over a year now, and it has become an essential part of how I organize my day. I rely on it so heavily that when my account unexpectedly disconnected from my phone and wouldn’t reconnect, I genuinely felt lost. Unfortunately, getting in touch with customer service to resolve the issue was frustrating and slow. That is really the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5.

That said, there is so much to love about Motion. I especially appreciate:

Recurring event scheduling that actually works with my workflow

A couple of features I’d love to see in future updates:
