I would personally save your money

I would personally save your money. They really only go over basics that you can learn on YouTube. My career coach was let go within a few days of starting, and the new one was spread too thin and was not able to respond in a timely matter.

They mean well and I don’t think it’s a money grab, but I think you’re better off by just watching some YouTube videos and trying to get an entry level job that will give you a good sales foundation.

Money grab

I finished the program two years ago and still don't have a job nor an internship. I had many interviews but no experience. I feel duped as I was talked into paying for it over time ($5,000) instead of putting off payments until I received a job. None of the jobs/internships I was applying for paid a livable wage. I am so disappointed in Uvaro and would never recommend if anyone who is looking to start a job in sales, because the song and dance that they give about getting a job with "zero experience" is bs. I've reached out regarding an internship through them and tried to explain my frustrations with the whole program and was left hanging. In my opinion Uvaro is a scam that makes the people running it a lot of money, by ripping off people who are legitimately looking for a career change.

Run!!!!

Please I beg anyone reading this.. don’t ever try this people. It’s a big scam in disguise. I had to quit one of my 2 jobs late last year just so I could have time to attend their tech sales course after seeing their sweet advert on TikTok. It was a one-month program, during the curse, I realized that majority of what they were teaching are all on YouTube for free. Well I continued cos the sales people made me to believe that the school is going to assist you during your job search and that I won’t have to pay anything until I land a job of over 30k. After the program finished.. there was no job, I was on job search by myself for several months until I got so frustrated and went back to my old job. Now Uvaro is sending me mails asking for their 6k after all my losses of time and money already. Now they have started forcefully deducting additional $40 every month from my account claiming that they modified the agreement we had before. It’s a lot more I can’t even explain everything here. Please where can we report these people. Help!!!!

RUN!! being reaped off 6k for nothing

I am having a very bad experience with Uvaro. I registered for their program sometime around September 2022, after listening to the bogus sales speech from your rep. About 2weeks later, I stumbled on more information and decided to pull out of the program. I called the number on their website on several occasions and left various voice mails but no one responded nor called back (was beginning to think its somesort of scam). I contined to reachout, until sometime in jan/feb when someone eventually responded and the feedback I got was that the period for canceling the contract has elapsed and so i will need to pay the full 6k to discontinue, it was also said that they do not have any record of me reaching out and they didn't receive any voice messages.

I have never attended any of their classes following registration, or used any of their packages, nor am I intending to do so in the future. I have also told them this severally and tried to sort their understanding but they remain adamant. Today I received a letter from them about modifications they're made to their initial contract, which involves extra payments that where not part of the original document. So now I am wondering if they are expecting me to agree to that. I am clearly stating that I don't agree to partake in any such modification and do not intend to pay for a service I never used and will not ever use. I hope this information helps you decision what to get involved in with this company.

I participated in one course

I participated in one course, Sales Tech, the course was only 4 weeks long, but when you have no sales experience time matters, trying to work a full time job, looking for a better position and school as well as the price was a bit much for me at this time. I decided to withdraw due to scheduling issues.

Stuck With A $6K Charge For Nothing

Not Worth it. Never wrote a review until now because there is a good reason for it.
They mention getting a job but that is not the case. They will teach all the things you can easily get online for free or learn from Companies that actually get people into Tech with a paying job. Now I am being charged for nothing but organized notes.
Stay away and save your money. Also, they got rid of their Residence program about getting you a job after you finish. They waited until we couldn't back out of the program to tell us that. Now most of us who joined are stuck paying a $6,000 fee. The first week felt worth it until you realize it can be learned somewhere else without paying for it. The last 2 weeks felt like it was a waste of time. This was a 4-week course because I needed a job soon.
Thanks for nothing Uvaro. I am still looking for a job in Tech that sticks after almost a year but at this rate, I'm looking into something else. There are better options out there.

Edit: It seems like a review was the only way for me to get in touch with someone here. I have been trying to reach someone but no answer. Classmates were having the same problem too. Sorry Uvaro but this has been unacceptable.

All of the instructors were phenomenal……

All of the instructors were phenomenal… I had the pleasure of learning a great deal from James and Sheila for my first course(tech sales) and I had such a great experience that I took a second course on job search and proper interview methods with Paolo… I highly recommend this experience!

I thought they were helping me finding…

I thought they were helping me finding a job, but that was not the case. They only provide tools and the certificate is not valid for BDR or SDR jobs. They seek for people with experience not certificate. And now I have to pay for the courses that never helped me

Not necessary but helpful

It was an empowering experience in terms of confidence building and becoming more aware of terminology + how sales roles can be structured.

But, virtually all of my peers that I have worked with SDR/BDR didn't go through a boot camp experience and either had recently finished post-secondary or had compatible (non-sales) experience.

It seems that the companies I've worked with are willing to train from the foundation without requiring a boot camp experience.

On the flip side being a part of the network was helpful in finding opportunities but it may not be worth the tuition fee in my perspective.
