I've had a very good experience buying an engagement ring for my fiancée at VanBruun in Amsterdam. Jordy was very welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout the process. I chose the Celine and with an express delivery. I was invited to pick up the ring well in time and within the agreed timelines. The ring later had to be adjusted slightly due to the fact that I had to guess the ring size of my fiancée's finger. We also chose to engrave the ring with the date of the proposal. This process also went as agreed and communication was excellent throughout. We're very happy with the ring, it is beautiful! I would highly recommend VanBruun.

Unfortunately I cannot say we had the best experience. We came in to try wedding bands and to understand the different options and what works best also with my engagement ring.
The person we had our appointment with did not assist us at all- she did not ask us any questions about what we’re looking for or try to explain to us anything about what they are able to do/ offer. She put the tray of rings in front of us and then stood on the other side of the glass table typing on her laptop the entire time while we tried some on. Perhaps sales is not the best role for her, but she also did not seem confident to answer questions about the rings either. We immediately wanted to leave the appointment after 5 minutes and felt uncomfortable.
Definitely did not buy our trust to purchase our rings there.

We had an appointment with Mari for our wedding rings, and it was really lovely. She was very sweet, knowledgable and listened to our needs.

I really liked that she was not pushy, and we took a few days to think about it. We placed an order and we are very happy with the decision we made with the help of Mari.

We look forward to receiving the rings!

I met Sara, who was very helpful throughout the process. She was thorough, patient, and clear in explaining the details while guiding me in choosing the right ring and diamond. As someone who does not know much about diamonds, I truly appreciated how she took the time to walk me through everything step by step. I came to the consultation prepared with a couple of ring models in mind, but was advised a different model (based on taste) which was even better after witnessing the differences side by side.

The images on the website are a good starting point, but they don’t do the ring enough justice. Strongly advise people to visit a showroom and see the rings for yourselves, especially side by side with different models. The crew also brings valuable insights and opinions.

This was the first time I had an appointment with a Dutch staff member, Jordy, which was a nice surprise as before it was usually Swedish staff coming over to Amsterdam. Jordy seems to fit the Van Bruun brand, is very friendly and knowledgeable.I also liked that he was really trying to think along with me and advise me on the best options for me personally.
One of the options I was interested in was not really standard and he went out of his way to make it possible for us, which is greatly appreciated.

This is the type of great customer service that Van Bruun offers. We've purchased both my engagement and wedding ring from Van Bruun in the past and we have always been very happy with their customer service at the time of purchase but also thereafter in supporting with maintenance, etc.
