Jury out at the mo. Bought it as a throw over, but quite clearly would be best if it were attached to a fixed rail. Having a rail fitted now, but is an unexpected expense. The tent part of the aw... See more

Basically it all comes down to quality…
Basically it all comes down to quality and being made as cheaply as possible in china. First trip out and its missing eyelets where there should be some. Stitching is very poor and worse is that the tent isn't waterproof. Vango used to be a trusted name but now its profit before quality unfortunately. They are not the only ones who Chinese manufacturing though. Check where the tent you want is made before buying would be my only advice and give Vango's a miss.
Just received my tuscany 500 air awning…
Just received my tuscany 500 air awning on Wednesday past took with us on Fri when we put it up noticed stiching had frayed at 1 of zip points on side door and same on draught skirt at bottom of awning and when we where packing away we notice that material had given away at seam on roof at airbeam at the side this was our first time purchasing a vango and it's not cheap so really not happy about this I'm unsure whether to take a replacement
Vango Air Beam
After we had a Vango Airbeam tent for years, as we moved on to caravanning we decided to buy a Vango Airbeam awning. We thought this would be of equal quality. We bought the Rapide II 400 Air Awning at the end of April 2019, used it a couple of times, but then for obvious reasons (COVID) it wasn't used for a couple of years. We were away beginning of May when we heard loud popping noises, like a gun going off. When I looked at the awning the main beam had failed and the inner liner had blown it's stiches. I'm no stranger to Air Beam tents so I know to make sure it's the correct pressure and it was, but still the stitching failed. I checked the camping spares website but they don't have any stock of the main beam now and since it's discontinued I don't think they ever will. Now I'm stuck with an awning, Sky liner and carpet that's of no use. Very disappointing.
UPDATE. I've just received an email from Vango saying they don't have any in stock or know when they will have them. No advice on where to send it to to get repaired. Now I'm left with hundreds of pounds worth or awning that may a s well be binned. I'll not be buying any more Vango products, based on my experience I would advise others to do the same.
I recently purchased a Galli CC Air…
I recently purchased a Galli CC Air Tall drive away awning from Vango, which I used during my recent camping trip, unfortunately we had a rainy day and we noticed that it was leaking, I therefore contacted Vango (AMG group) and was extremely impressed by the service received, the leaky awning was collected the following day and today a week later a replacement awning arrived, very impressed!!
Good communications and quick service
Vango Galaxy 300 for bike packing comfort
Our Vango Galaxy 300 has proved to be an ideal tent for 2 on our cycle trip along the Elbe from the sea to source over 5 weeks.. We especially like the foyer keeping us dry in wet weather. We have added a few extra elastic guys to stop the rain getting onto the foyer groundsheet. We can also secure the bikes in the vestibule.
Useless doesn’t fit round window very gappy. Becomes wet inside canvas when heavy rain
Bought a van go air awning, suppose to be able to fit snuggly over windows. Instructions useless. Watched videos and also asked store where I bought it but still flaps about cannot get a tight fit. Triangle things absolutely useless a bit of wind and they move leaving great gaps. Supposed bard down side do not wrap round properly. If heavy rain becomes wet inside awning complete e as are of money.

Quick delivery
Quick delivery.
Product as promised and easy to install.
Nervous about ordering as I wasn't completely sure about how the product would look, how big, adaptable and okay for a single person but it was okay.
Easy to put up
Easy to put up. No condensation in sleeping area.
Nice porch for equipment. Ground sheet perfect.
Nice big entrance door and fly screen.
Only fault is needs better tie ups on the pegs and poles’ bags.
Had a windbreak last year
Had a windbreak last year, used it once. Pulled it out to use this year and all the piles have rusted and distorted, even though they have been in the dry. Stupidly bought a tent, pole broke and part missing on first outing. Weeks have gone by trying to get someone to resolve these issues. The aftersales is truly painful. Still don’t have an answer on problems with tent, so having to cancel holiday as it’s not useable. Don’t waste your time or money!
bit mixed really we purchased a large…
bit mixed really we purchased a large vango airbeam tent which leaked terrible on our first use wasn't at all fun lying in bed with water dripping onto us. wasn't even raining particularly heavy , so we returned the tent and brought a much cheaper vango beta 550xl fibreglass pole tent it was on sale at 75 quid and we were dubious to say the least but the guy in the shop said he owned one and its the best tent he's ever had, and he was right we've been on countless camping holidays / wknd aways and its coped well with all weather conditions its held sturdy in strong winds and not leaked when we've had a full night of heavy rain it also coped with night of on n off torrential downpours in a thunderstorm. can't complain at all. just shows sometimes the budget tents are made better than the ones 4 times the price.

Vango awning zip breaks on second use
Used Vango Altona Low drive away awning for the second time and the front entrance zip broke rendering the product useless.
Contacted Blacks who will only offer a refund - not a replacement and Vango is refusing to repair the broken zip even though I registered for the extended guarantee, bit of a waste of time, eh?
Have bought many Vango products in the past but it seems that the brand is no longer one to trust.
Disappointing.
Great customer services
I just bought a few items from camping recycled, one of two of the parcels did not arrive as planned, I called Vango and was pleasantly surprised at the high level of customer service i have received and the speed at which the issue was resolved....keep up the brilliant work

Poor vango stargrove ii tc air tent
So just bought a new vango stargrove ii tc air tent and not impressed the polycotton is amazing!! but the quality to stiching and quality to design is shocking! First time putting up, the rear elastic that pitches the rear came off in my hand so thought no big deal then I thought I'd better go round the tent so I did, found a rip on the fabric that covers the outer zip, found a small hole in the fabric under the window, not good!! Also the design of these tents are not good the side front windows are mesh 😳 yes mesh!! There is a small cover on the inside but let me tell you this does not keep the cold out even with a heater on its its like having the front door open!! Why not just make a zip windows I'm sure this wouldn't of been hard!! Another bad design is the side door and the front door they have no bottom zip or even just velcro to keep the wind and cold out. Its a real shame the tent looks amazing the quality of the polycotton is amazing air beams amazing but the people who designed it shocking!! Vango give me a job!! 🤣🤣 so be warned if it's a bit windy and cold you may as well be out side as the tent let's evey bit of the cold and air in.. ive also been camping for years and my old tent never had an issue just wanted something new and modern. Come on vango get on it and sort the issues out!! And sort the quality control out my daughter can stichand cut straighter, looks like some one was drunk making this tent!!
