VanMoof ... They are redefining urban mobility with style, substance, and growing support!

My overall experience with VanMoof has been very positive. The bike itself delivers an exceptional riding experience — smooth, quiet, and efficient. The integrated design, automatic gearing, and theft protection system make daily use both effortless and reliable.

What truly made my experience great is how the bike fits seamlessly into my daily routine — it replaces short car trips and makes urban mobility faster and more enjoyable. The quality of the frame and components also gives a sense of durability and trust.

I’ve also noticed real improvement in customer support and communication since the McLaren takeover — more responsiveness, more clarity, and a clear focus on customer satisfaction.

If I can offer some constructive input: keep improving transparency around software updates, continue expanding the accessory range (especially practical and safety-oriented gear), and strengthen the service network to make maintenance faster and simpler.

Overall, VanMoof has transformed the way I move — it’s more than a bike; it’s a complete mobility experience.

Since purchasing my VanMoof S2 in 2017, I have had an excellent user experience. The service and aftersales support have been consistently strong, positioning VanMoof as a reliable and professional player in the Smart Bike market. I have great respect for the founders and their vision for innovation in cycling.

Love the new S6 and also the Electric…

Love the new S6 and also the Electric Blue collor. Fast moving, auto shifting and good app. Only the kick lock i am not happy about since it often not works.

Where is my refund after approved return?

I ordered in September two suspension seatposts for eur196, but after installing one of them I was very disappointed in the improvement. Got confirmation that I could return them for order 60019079 and delivered them at UPS tracking number 1ZG223B49102949017 refers. But so far did not receive a confirmation of receipt nor did I receive the refund. Please investigate and advise back.
It may be a coincidence but a day after my review i reveived a refund notification.

Bike is fantastic when working as intended. Recommend ordering through a bike shop.

Ordered through a bike shop to have some sort of company or entity to refer to if there were issues.

Bike delivered and works perfectly. It’s an amazing bike for what it is, absolutely zero complaints. Time will tell if this will stay the case with maintenance and prolonged use (if it will not have the same frequent and frustrating repair issues as past models). I am somewhat optimistic about this though, as there are now plenty of local repair shops able to work on Van Moofs now.

One of my friends ordered his through Van Moof themselves and it arrived defective. As far as I know, they’re still having trouble getting it serviced/replaced. Another one recently paid and ordered through their website and had to manually track down some kind of contact form through their website, just to be linked to a table listing their rough estimated delivery date. It seems communication and after-sales support is still a bit lacking, that’s why I’d recommend ordering yours through a bike shop/dealer/partner with a physical location so you have someone to refer to in case of issue.

That being said, when working, the bike is amazing and have had absolutely zero complaints/issues thus far.

I've had a really good experience with…

I've had a really good experience with VanMoof. 5 stars if they'd open a service center in Portugal so I don't have to ship my bike across Europe if there is a problem.
