All fine until you need help from them...
I ordered a Varidesk riser at the end of January. Delivery was speedy and set up was easy, however after using it for a couple of weeks I decided it was too large and bulky for my home office and decided to return it under the 30 day returns window.
Trying to get in contact with Varidesk is almost impossible... I tried calling a week ago and was on hold for about 10 minutes. The cheerful automated message tells you "you can choose to continue holding, or receive a callback from one of our team members as soon as one becomes available". Great, I thought, I'll do that and save myself waiting on hold. I have never received that callback.
The next day I tried sending them a message through their website form to say I was trying to arrange a return. To my surprise, I received an email later that day from one of their team members asking to confirm that I was able to repackage the item and that I had access to a printer to print out a returns label. Once confirmed, they would be able to arrange the return for me. Result! Wrong... I immediately replied saying I have access to a printer and all of the original packaging to be able to package the item up, and please could they arrange the return. I have still not heard back, and this was almost a week ago now, despite chasing multiple times.
I am now currently on hold on their phone lines, again, trying to arrange a return. I had been on hold for 15 minutes earlier when the call seemed to automatically cut out at the 15 minute mark. I have tried calling again - according to their automated message I can press 2 to leave a message, but nothing actually happens when you try that. Similarly, nobody ever calls you back when you try and schedule a callback.
I am now at a loss as to how I am supposed to get in touch with anyone at this company. My 30 day returns window ends in a couple of days, it feels like they are deliberately not arranging the return at this point so they can go over the 30 days and not have to refund me.
Honestly, do not give your money to this company unless you are absolutely sure you aren't going to need their assistance at some point, because you won't get it...
