Used Varley's previously for our en-suite which we were really pleased with, so had no hesitation going back for a refurb. on our utility room and a new oven & hob.
As before Joe was really helpful, showing us a really good choice of items eg sink, mixer tap, worktop, tiles, cupboards etc.
We also wanted to change our gas hob to an induction and replace an old oven. We'd been told by an electrician that it would be difficult to have an induction hob as they need a lot of power so it would need it's own circuit. We gave up on the idea and were putting up with having calor gas bottles purely for the hob. Joe Varley told us about plug-in 13A inductions which we weren't aware of, so we ordered one through him and are really pleased with it. Joe's recommended kitchen fitter Ken was great and did a really good job installing everything and doing the tiling etc. We are really pleased with the outcome and are having our main bathroom done through him next.

I had a bathroom refurbishment and the standard of workmanship is very poor. The company advertise a ‘one stop shop’ but the fitter they recommended was totally incompetent and while they did eventually come back to seal the sink, grout tiles and seal floor when I complained, the shower tiling remains an issue and they refuse to remedy this. I also ended up having to pay £1,200 more than the quoted price. Altogether a very disappointing and expensive mistake to trust this company.
