I’m a co-founder of prema.pro, a real estate platform. We worked with Vasterra on the platform. The platform's main functionality is to allow our clients the opportunity to generate presentations using data and send them to their clients. The platform is a web app with an automated presentation generator. They also worked on the interface of the app. We first went for an MVP, and now we’re working on making the platform bigger. The MVP is completed, but we’re still working on the interface and enhancing the product. From the very beginning, we had access to the test environment, which allowed us to see all of the work and functionalities. The output presentation files were the main metrics for us. While we weren’t sure how they were made through code, we could measure what it looked like overall. Their services were cheaper than companies that don’t have real estate experience. They also work with their clients for over ten years. We don’t want to change the team. Their team also has a detail-oriented approach.

Developing Company Vasterra and Mr. Mazurchak have been on my project for over 8 months where 31.950 USD was involved.
The project should have been finished within 3 months which was not even at 50% after 8 months developments.
They asked for weekly sprint payments selling me same tasks again and again. They made promises about time schedule and functions but missed timelimes many times.
They did not write an EU compliant sourcecode for the project.
They did not created a source code with documentation or comments and they did not write a code in the way other agencies could understand or work on it afterwards.
They used a Laravel framework which was outdated and old.
They were not able to integrate a payment process working (simple Paypal and Stripe integration).
They asked for more and more money every week and they were not able to deliver the project usable.
Communication was weak as Mr. Mazurchak himself does not speak English well. He was never available for a video call. Therefore the communication for a project of our size was impossible.
In our opinion, Vasterra is well for small wordpress and small projects but nothing serious or enterprise - size. They were not able to create the SaaS plattform we wanted to build therefore it seems that mid-complex SaaS Platforms is nothing they can do.
We had to consult IT experts on our costs and also hire other Developers for 5.000 USD to fix tasks Vasterra was not able to fix within 3 months (Payments).
Vasterra also has no solutions for privacy and DSGVO policy - big data protection and user relevant protection.
Vasterra does build non-updatable CRM Systems without security measurements.
They deliver audits of done work which was corrected after we checked them so the numbers fit to their work.
For the time Vasterra team takes to find solutions or having learning experiences on the tasks they take money. We had to pay their learning curve.
They wrote numbers in an excel but they gave no proof or documentation of the work.
They have no well project managers to work with. They did weekly video calls with us without executing what we agreed. Asking for money they were very responsive and fast.
Vasterra assured us from the beginning and after solving quesations on the projects features, that they are able to build and fulfill this project. It turned out that they were NOT skilled enough and NOT experienced enough to do the job.
Apart from the mentioned facts I want to point out that with the payments and memberbase Vasterra created, we would have BIG SECURITY ISSUES after a few months with members and their data. Vasterra had no system to save securly the membersadata and bring them into compliance of the German or EU regularities. A MUST for an international acting freelancer building plattform of this dimension in Europe or especially in Germany.

Design wise: they work slowly. So even if you pay less it takes longer and with agreed weekly sprints we had to pay the same as with some skilled UI/UX designer.
Designs were made in an outdated width size of 1.440 pixel. (according to google only 23% of the world uses 1.440 pixel deimensions still) over 67% uses 1.920 pixel in width. All designs were made in 1.920 pixel so we had to readjust them for another 2.800 USD on ourselves. We received no support by Vasterra on this.

We lost 32.000 USD (biggest job for Vasterra according to upwork) for getting nothing out of it ! Not even 50% work, no functioning plattform, nothing we could use parts of.
We do not recommend this Freelancer for European countries companies, especially not German companies who need compliant and secure systems and a well documented code and flow chart of the project.
