Tres chic Parisienne

There were a couple of glitches -- the triple-remote TV system was impossible to navigate and I just gave up. It's Paris, anyway, but still, nice to get some local TV. I followed the instructions and it didn't work but anyway it kept me from staying inside so I'll still give it 5 stars.
I also couldn't get the Keurig-style coffee maker to work but again, these things forced me outside.
If it were winter and rainy that might have made a bigger difference but for me it was a message to just get out and experience the city.
The house was a bit eccentric...who puts the loo at the farthest end of the house from the bedroom?! but clean and the bed linens and duvet were wonderful.
Location of course was great. And I want to give a special shout-out to the Veeve Transport team, that was SUCH a great asset and so much appreciated. Arriving disoriented after a long flight, and with a reservation to keep, about a half hour after check-in, I really needed things to go smoothly and to see Jose there with a "CHARLES HOUSE" sign was really magical.
The return was just as good, transport arrived 10 minutes early for my 6:30 appointment.
All in all I will definitely be using Veeve again. Thank you for a wonderful if brief stay!

Lovely place!
It was our first visit to Paris & we loved it! Staff was there when we arrived to make sure we were all set up & had everything we needed. They checked in a few days later to see how we were. The place is lovely- just like pics. Plenty of room for our family. Clean and comfortable. Was close to metro, bikes & scooters, many shops & cafes, & we were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower and Luxembourg Gardens. We would definitely come back!

1) need a better introduction to how things work such as washer & dryer. As an American the washer & dryer are very different. Didn’t know where the window keys/screwdrivers were hidden. 2) beds in 2 bedrooms were not comfortable & not really beds. 3) pillows flat, should have better pillows and top sheets. Hot days & only covers are comforters when we should have had a sheet. 4) too many trinkets and objects all around the surfaces, floors, etc. that made it awkward walking around or using the bathroom counters for fear of knocking something over. 5) the stairs are permanent so nothing can be done about that except to put a marking on bottom landing or use carpet to distinguish the illusion of no more step. I fell off the landing and bumped my head and bruised up and scraped my right knee and leg and arm. My husband fell twice off the bottom landing but was able to catch himself. We moved the front door carpet to the landing to avoid future problems. 6) kitchen has for my family a very undesirable smell. No one wanted to use the kitchen due to smell. 7) the quiet zone was supposed to be 11:00pm. Every night way past midnight there were people/ neighbors outside having loud gatherings while we were trying to sleep. 8) tripping hazard with chords from floor lamps.

We had a great stay at the appartment. It suited all our needs perfectly. It is in a great location with a number of good shops and cafes in close proximity. It would help if the no of the address was provided in the briefing pack as the rue Michel Ange is a long street and this would help with taxi drop off etc. it was unfortunate that there were road works ongoing outside the appartment during our stay which meant that our sleep was disturbed as they worked late into the night and started early in the morning. This was out of the control of the owners. The appartment itself is spacious and we were able to spend a relaxing time there.

Absolutely beautiful home, yet comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Loved the back terrace area- complete with visits from the neighbor’s kitty (she kept her distance though - always up high.) Three bedrooms - each with a bath was perfect for our group. Thank you!

FANTASTIC location, but has issues
FANTASTIC location. Apartment is on a street with great food options and shopping, near metro and 15 min walk to Eiffel Tower. Kitchen stocked sufficiently and was clean. A little run down (pealing paint, bathroom tiles need bleaching, one bathroom door not shut, and light switch falling out of wall.) Main reason for 3 stars was the hot water. We had 4 people (2 adults and 2 kids) and it was 90+ F every day in Paris. We needed showers. There is a warning on the check in sheet that hot water was limited, we took luke warm, quick showers and only got about 2.5 warm showers before all warm water ran out. This is not ok. If you say your place can host 4 people, you need to have hot water for 4 showers. We even did the recommended trick to flip the switch on the fuse box to increase the temperature in the water heater. Also the chairs at the kitchen table are SUPER uncomfortable and there isn't really anywhere else to sit.

The rental period itself went well--good instructions for arrival and departure, staff person who met us was on time, friendly and helpful. Setting up the rental was time-consuming, with complex enrollment procedures and a very, very strict and threateningly-worded rental agreement. Overall, a very mixed experience.
