Superb - 3x Adsense RPM
Prior to Venatus I was using Google Adsense and getting a rather poor rpm, not unusual for a website in the gaming industry sadly.
I reached out to Venatus having found that other websites in the industry were using them as their advertising partner and I have to say I'm 100% delighted that I did.
I've now been using Venatus for 4 months so feel this is a good time to do a review.
For me rpm is about 3x on average that from adsense, which frankly is what most people reading this review will care about, this is with about the same number of adverts that I was running with adsense, probably slightly less actually and no real difference to the loading of the webpages and the adverts are comparable to adsense (probably better) in quality.
Everyone I have spoken to at Venatus has been absolutely great, from the initial meeting to on-going support.
The backend systems are nice and slick giving good detailed breakdown of all the stats I'm interested in, not real time like adsense, typically the previous day's data is all in the console by about 8:30am the next morning which to me is absolutely fine.
For the purposes of a balanced review and just to help people in future these are the minor things that could be improved, but honestly they are super minor;
I was warned that in the first couple of weeks income could drop below what I was getting from adsense and that it would improve over time, the first few days were quite a shock and I thought I'd made a horrible mistake but honestly they were right, it recovered over the next few weeks and by January (typically the worst month of the year) the rpm was above what adsense was giving me in December. So just be aware the first couple of days might be rough but all should be good in the end.
My 2nd nitpick would be that the initial onboarding was a little on the slow side, pretty sure I was through the 1st month trial period before we had everything at the point we were all happy, would be better to get to that point first before the 1 month period starts but it's not the end of the world.
As I said those were just minor issues and overall I'm utterly delighted to be working with Venatus and plan to do so for the foreseeable future and if you have a website in the gaming space I would encourage you to reach out to them.
