Easy & quick

Easy to use website. I booked queue buster tickets at 10pm for the following day - super easy.

Only downside you can't pay with PayPal.

Would use again.

Booking on web is not easy enough

Booking on web is not easy enough. Payment module does not provide good insight in whether payment is processed and the progress of that.
An error on the payment module is showing, whereas the payment is done correctly!
Also happening: booking is confirmed, but no additional confirmation from the payment module (CartaSi) is received.

Conclusion: confusing and that is exactly what consumers do not want! Certainly not with their credit card payments!

Next to that: editing an article in the shopping bag, leads you back to the start of the booking process. To my opinion, it should lead you directly to the relevant article with the option to adjust numbers/dates

Expensive tourist trap

Useless and a tourist trap like commercialization of the church... paid 12 euros for 6 people to skip the line, but still have to merge with the regular queue inside - so we could have gotten in almost as fast without paying. We spend additional money to "cover" legs and shoulders inside the church.

Everything else inside had a price to it as well. 2 euros here and 3 euros there etc. We walked for 10 minutes inside and if we should have seen all we could easily have spend 50+ euros more.

I'm appalled by the capitalism like path the church has taken.

we are sorry you were not satisfied with your visit to St. Mark’s Basilica. Please note that if you had read carefully all the information we provide both online and on the voucher, you would have been warned about all the issues you mentioned above. Our service is only a skip-the-line access to enter the Basilica without queuing, but inside the church there are also visitors accessing without a reservation. Please note that both online and on the voucher it is clearly stated that it is necessary to wear proper clothing in order to enter the Basilica, in any case there is the possibility to buy on site paper shalws to visit the treasures, the Golden Pall and the museum.

Fantastic venue

Fantastic venue, horrible hustlers/scammers outside. They are very aggressive and clientele should be strongly cautioned about them. Your company has excellent customer service and was most courteous, will definitely book with you again!

Would thoroughly advise to never use this agency, and only book directly with service providers

Would thoroughly advise to never purchase tickets from here. Bought 5 - 72 hour travel tickets for public transport (water boats etc) from ticket machines as the Venice station. However, tickets did not print.

We tried resolve this issue with staff. However, there was no solution! No other ticket machines for this particular agency worked. The staff apparently had no authorisation to print the tickets for the agency.

The agency had no office in Venice and no contact numbers. I would only book directly with original ticket providers and not go through this agency.

Please consider that, both online and on the voucher sent at the end of the online reservation, we provide our customers with detailed instructions on how the PNR works combined with a list of automatic ticket machines enabled to convert the voucher into a physical ticket: this list does not include the automatic machine at the railway station only, but also many other machines located at the main stops of Venice public transport. ACTV staff cannot print the tickets because the PNR has to be converted into a physical ticket only at the automatic ticket machines. We regret you found the advanced booking useless since most of our customers appreciate it because it allows to save time without queuing at the ticket offices!

Systems need work

When booking to climb St Mark's tower for a view of Venice, it was unhelpful that no indication was given of how many spaces were left in each time slot. Since you can only book one individual at a time, when I came to book my boyfriend onto the same thing, the time slot was full and so he will have to go at a separate time.

In addition, the confirmation screen would not load and eventually took me to an error screen, which advised that I contact the company via a form. Fortunately, the confirmation email has come through, but this needs to have more immediate contact information in case the tour is booked for within the next 24-48hrs.

thank you for your feedback! Please consider that, as indicated online, there are only 12 places available per time slot and our system shows those available only. Therefore if you choose a day and time slot the system lets you select the places available… If there was just a place available, you were supposed to choose another time slot, where you could have selected two tickets. The availability is updated in real time and allows customers to reserve only the places available. We apologize for the inconvenience at the end of the online booking procedure but please consider that, as for the ‘immediate contact’ you suggested us, we have both an e-mail address and a phone number to contact in case of emergencies.

impossible to book

impossible to book, site not find my credit card , i have tried more than 4 times with 2 cards... And ihave booked in another sites without any trouble...

After your feedback, we checked our reservation system and, as far as we can see, the problem is related to your credit card. Probably, something went wrong with the payment and your credit card was not charged. Please consider that we are getting over 5.000 bookings per day and no one is having payment problems… Usually, in cases such as yours, we suggest our customers to contact the bank to require clarification.

Got a "Ordine non sottomesso" after submitting. Got the email that payment was processed, but took 5 or so minutes to finally get the voucher email. Was confusing.

Poor service front staff

We were already running a few minutes late because the vaporetto line had a change that was posted at the terminal, not on the schedule. We took the time to check our backpacks as we were told via the reservation. Waited on line with our reservation for 20 minutes, and were told at the door we were too late. The man at the door (mustache, dark hair) allowed the man in front of us to enter with his backpack (which it states on the reservation is not acceptable), but we were told that we couldn't enter because we were late. If it were an hour or more, I'd understand. If he hadn't made an exception for the man in front of us, I'd also understand. The system needs to either be flexible or not, but this was clearly a case of the door person making a choice. It was poorly handled, and he took more time to explain that we were late so he wouldn't let us go than it would have taken to allow us to get in. We were disappointed that we did not get to see San Marco, but more so that this person felt like he could shame us while allowing the man in front to break the rules he so vehemenently felt he needed to follow.

we are sorry you could not access St. Mark's Basilica... but please consider that you arrived late and on the voucher it is clearly specified that 'The time slot indicated on the voucher must be respected. Those who do not show up at the reserved time will lose the right to the skip the line access'. We don't think that we can be held responsible for your delay, do you? If we allow all the visitors who arrive late to use their reservation ... How will we be able to manage the skip-the-line service? Without a strictly control of the reservations, we won't be able to guarantee the quality of a service that most of our customers appreciate, as you can read from the reviews on the Basilica page on venetoinside.com.
As for the man on duty at St. Peter's Door, he has been working for us from 2 years and no one has never complained about him. On the contrary, he has always been appreciated for his patience and professionalism... We regret about what happened, if our colleague on duty at St. Peter's Door has offended you in any way, we apologise on his behalf. Of course, it wasn't his intention but please bear in mind that we run this service on behalf of the Procuratoria di San Marco and therefore pay great attention to comply with its official regulations that does not allow to bring backpacks inside the church, in particular for safety reasons.
