It doesn't matter what simple task I need to do with Verizon, it is impossible for them to complete it. Everything is automated by a retarded coder. Just trying to get autopay set up was unsuccessful.... See more

Garbage customer service
Garbage customer service.
I canceled my home internet service because I was moving out of the area. A month later after canceling my remaining two phone lines due to their high prices, I suddenly start getting billed again for the home internet. This is just wrong behavior on so many levels. Will never pay for a Verizon service again.
Incompetent employees
I purchased a new phone, (not from Verizon because they didn't have my choice available) and took it into my local Verizon store (Clinton, IA) to have them transfer my service and data from my old phone. I wasn't sure how to do it myself and didn't want the stress. The person I got to help me was less competent than I am and caused me more stress than had I done it myself. I ended up leaving the store because it was clear he had no idea what he was doing. I called a different Verizon store the following day and was told I could bring it there and they would help. So I called first then walked in to find only one employee and four customers ahead of me. I decided to leave, I drove to a different town, went shopping and had lunch and then came back to the Verizon store. The customers that were there when I left were still there, plus one more, so I went home. I decided to figure out on my own how to transfer the data which ended up to be extremely easy, took a very short time and worked out perfectly. That a Verizon store has employees that can't figure out how to use their own technology is absolutely absurd. And that they have so few people working in the stores is truly irritating. In a world where a phone is necessary to do absolutely everything, they need to staff their stores to handle the amount of customers in need of help, and hire competent people. I paid for the service to transfer and set up my new phone, only to end up doing it myself. I doubt I will walk into a Verizon store again.
I have been with them 19 years and…
I have been with them 19 years and never had issues until the past four months. Their customer service has plummeted. I had to follow up on a credit that was supposed to be applied to my account in January and then I followed up in February and March and finally they decided to apply in April after being promised during each previous phone call that it would be applied right away. It took four phone calls and over an hour each time waiting for it to be applied. Now they can’t get the address right for shipping a new phone and we have reached out three times. T-mobile is about to gain 6 new lines.
Billed inaccurately, damaged credit, refused to fix
Cancelled FIOS service July 17 2025. Received a bill in September 2025 for 182.99, however my bill was $54.99 / month. This bill was far too high and was not itemized. I didn't know what it was for, so I disputed it with my credit card company.
I find out months later that my credit has taken a beating and I'm in debt collections. I call Verizon to fix it. I spend 5 hours on the phone. They eventually are willing to refund a charge from September which they made in error which inflated the cost (they won't refund the charge from August or pro-rate it). Most significantly refuse to wipe the mistaken bill that I didn't pay (because it was wrong, which I disputed successfully with my credit card) from my credit report.
Damage done.
The service sucks 5g w/1 bar...I see…
The service sucks 5g w/1 bar...I see why they got rid if the commercial (Can You Hear Me Now) Call dropping on 5g. Phones design to malfunction to keep you purchasing. Everyone ( All cell phone providers) on the same tower. Its all a rip off Dont forget to check your bill an additional 80$ charge credited back?smh
The Number 1 Verizon!
Kudos goes to Kari Breckenridge at Verizon located at 5001 Peachtree Blvd. Atlanta, Georgia 30341. Thanks for making my day with your guidance and specific information that brought me my breakthrough! I followed your directions and the craziness that was occurring with several apps popping up due to the viruses on my phone stopped immediately. What a relief! Keep up the great work! You are surely a cherished one at Verizon! Thanks Sandra Edwards
Keep lookjng…
21 years with Verizon and until the end they were ok. Our family matriarch had a brain tumor that needed to be removed which hurt business badly and we tried to get better rates, very rude response. Year or so before we upgraded phones, having hardly ever doing so. Then we HAD to get better rates and were forced to switch to save 45%. They now threatening to send is to collections for the phones. We offered to return, to pay monthly etc. Nope. So if you want a company that after 21 years has your back, KEEP LOOKING. Verizon assured me when we upgraded it was "free" and we only had to stay another 2-3 months as we had not upgraded in several years. Competition is ruining them and even 21 year customers are expendable. How you think you'll rate as a new customer?
After 28 years
After 28 years with them, I finally left this awful company! I will never go back. They are so bad with their increased billing each month, and after one week, they send my bill to collections! Are they for real or what? Such a scandalous business model.
Litterally the worst customer I have…
Litterally the worst customer service I have ever seen. I have been with Verizon 27 years. Tomorrow I’ll switch to T-Mobile. Verizon wasted 2 1/2 hrs of my time trying to add my wife’s plan to mine. The incompetence was mind blowing. I honestly hope they go bankrupt!
Company cannot fix phones the easy way.
So i suppose a multi billion dollar company is too good to actually help someone transfer their data to a new phone. Screen is broken on it, and yet in the year of our lard 2026, it is still impossible to transfer data via cable to cable between phones! I cannot wait for every person at that store on 56th n Vine Street, next to UbreakIfix (their money laundering scheme) to all get fired. Can't wait for verizon to fail as a company. They have yet to be helpful in my life of owning a phone. It is always a problem with them.
Poor customer service
I thought Amazon customer service was bad, they make Amazon customer service look amazing. I began the call wanting to cancel one line which I no longer pay for but keep the number on a different line, 1 hour later they still were unable to process what seems like it shouldn’t take longer than 10 minutes. They were unable to “understand” what I was saying and kept making me repeat myself because the were confused and I was being simple. I only asked to cancel one line but keep the number, is that confusing because apparently for certain people it is, especially people who deal with things like that all day…
If I could give zero stars I would
If I could give zero stars I would. All I am trying to do is port my 95 year old dad's phone number to my Tmobile account so I can manage it for him. It's been 2 days now and nothing has happened. Tmobile is very responsive and have been working with me, but the problem is on the Verizon end.
GARBAGE VERIZON SERVICE.
MY CELLPHONE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY INCOMING CALLS. FURTHERMORE, SINCE LAST YEAR, VOICEMAILS LEFT ON MY PHONE WHILE THE PHONE IS OFF/AIRPLANE MODE, WILL NOT REGISTER ON THE VOICEMAIL ICON WHEN THE PHONE IS TURNED BACK ON. THE GARBAGE VERIZON COMPANY KEEPS PARROTING THE SAME LINE: "IT'S YOUR DEVICE." MY FRIEND'S I-PHONE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM. WHEN I VISITED SAMSUNG'S STORE AT ROOSEVELT FIELD LAST YEAR, MY PHONE WORKED WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM. WHETHER YOU OWN AN ANDROID PHONE OR I-PHONE, VERIZON IS PROVIDING THE SAME GARBAGE SERVICE. IT'S TIME FOR THE CEO TO BE PROSECUTED, CONVICTED, AND INCARCERATED FOR THIS GROSS MALFEASANCE!
IN THE MID MORNING OF THIS DATE (04/16/26), THE AFOREMENTIONED PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED. UNFORTUNATELY, MY OTHER ISSUE SINCE LAST YEAR HASN'T BEEN CORRECTED. WHEN I TURN MY PHONE ON IN THE MORNING, OR REMOVE IT FROM AIRPLANE MODE, THE VOICEMAIL ICON WILL NOT INDICATE ANY VOICEMAILS, WHEN, IN FACT, THEY DO EXIST.
I MUST MANUALLY CALL MY VOICEMAIL WITH *86 TO ASCERTAIN THE STATUS OF VOICEMAILS. IT'S NOT JUST MY ANDROID PHONE; MY FRIEND'S I-PHONE EXPERIENCES THE SAME ISSUE IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF BROOKLYN, NY.
UPDATE ON 04/17/26: EARLY ON THIS DATE, ONCE AGAIN, I CANNOT ACCESS MY VOICEMAIL TO DETERMINE IF THERE ARE ANY MESSAGES IN THE BOX. VERIZON CAN'T BECOME EXTINCT SOON ENOUGH FOR ME!
I'm fed up with Verizon customer support
I'm fed up with Verizon customer support. I placed an online order for an accessory and received a confirmation emial. 2 hours later I get an email saying that I cancelled the order, which is a lie. I'm very tired of waiting on customer service for hours both today and yesterday. I've been transferred from department to department and everyone is telling me that they can help me and that they will take 100% ownership to see my issue is resolved only to transfer me to another department. I paid for the item using a verizon gift card and the funds weren't refunded.

Hi I’m Rivers I live in Greenville AL and we are fortunate enough to have a Verizon store local to us and the service was really good and Logan was a big help 10/10
Diehard Verizon customer looking for new service
I've been a diehard Verizon customer for a long time, a very long time. I have zero complaints about their cellular service, speeds, changing plans then back again when travelling abroad or upgrading devices without any loss of information. But their Customer Service, what minimal existence it is.
Today I logged into the desktop version of the website to block a number; had to search but found an answer; navigated to where the answer pointed me and found nothing but a confusing page full of options clear about advertisement and everything else except for the terms the search feature revealed. Enter chat...
I started a chat session. To get around the virtual bull, I kept typing OPERATOR NOW until I was connected to one, had to verify myself (again) then posted my request they blocked the following number. I was sent a link, that link was all for a mobile app and...it was just a frustrating chat back and forth. And of course there were long waits in between while they did something quick in the background like painted their toes or gave the cat a bath. I was later transferred, had to verify myself (3rd time), was asked for the number (they've received it no less than 4 times now), more long pauses in between unhelpful messages - then finally a message that said "My back office team has already blocked the number." That wasn't coming from someone with a command of the English language, but no issues there. It took 43 minutes to block a !#%@ number.
Biggest scam EVER
Biggest scam EVER. Verizon clearly about to be wiped off the planet THANK YOU !!!!They allow NON VERIZON PHONES to be sold under Verizon so they can use the name Verizon to scam. But they aren't actually Verizon. Not even Verizon bags I feel stupid AND they had a safe when we walked in I should have known they had to wait 20 minutes or 30 minutes because they don't want to get shot I see now that people are probably furious ! If you have people so mad that you have to use a code to let people in that should have been a red flag for me. So shame on me for being stupid but don't anybody else be stupid either !! I will stop my payment on false advertisement false everything . You got you gained money you got your gained a customer no no no no no God doesn't like evil you lost money you lost a customer and time
. And you got a better view I hope it was all worth it I don't know how you can get up and go to work in the morning knowing that you have that job.

My Name Is Romaine I’m Not In Us At This Moment I’m Working In Jamaica For Awhile My IPhone Purchasing full And Verizon Keep Telling Me I Have To Wait 365 Befor I Can Use A local ESIM I’m My Phone I’m In Jamaica Can’t using travel pass Everyday Because It’s 12 Dollars Every Day I request a Unlock They Don’t Want To Unlock My Phone And That Is Madness Because The Phone Is Already Paid Off
Verizon will take whatever money they can get from you. And we'll lie to you as they do it
Okay, I left verizon in february and went to another company. In March, I got a $50 bill from Verizon. Telling me that I used their internet and had to be adjusted from february through at the end of the month. So at this time, I realized I had not returned the internet equipment. So I went into the store on randall road in Elgin.Illinois return the equipment and assumed everything was taken care of a bad mistake. They again charged me $50 again here in April and are telling me they have to check the review and to make sure there is no back billing owed. I have never worked with a more dishonest company than this one. They will do everything and anything they can do to get your money. Do not trust them go to any other phone company. But them they are not reliable. In telling the truth and giving you the answers you need
