WARNING ⚠️...... please do not use this company ... there customer service is appealing and their clothes are made from cheap tacky materials and overpriced!
I returned an item recently (which was over the 14 day policy due to valid reasons which I explained) and was then emailed to say I wouldn’t get a refund and I could go and pick the item up from their offices miles away. The item was unworn and had tags on it. After a threat to go to trading standards they agreed to send the awful outfit back to me with no refund! I have worked in retail and bought from all the reputable companies and never experienced this in my life as long as an item is unworn I have always been given a full refund!
Please do not buy from these scammers

As we explained in our message to you, you were returning an item after 54 days.
We do state in our returns policy and through our online returns system that a return cannot be accepted that long after purchase. We do try to be as lenient as possible but being over 3 times longer than the permitted time we unfortunately cannot allow.
Our returns process does state that if you ignore this and send it to us anyway the cost to have it collected falls on you but you can arrange to have it collected by courier. As a goodwill gesture we offered to post it back to you at our cost.
We do our best to be lenient but we are running a business, allowing returns of that time frame would not be viable sadly.

As a loyal customer at Vestry, having recently spent upwards of £1,000 on garments, I was very surprised at the level of poor customer service I have received.
Upon receipt of a dress which was not to the high standard I came to expect, I was refused a refund by Vestry as the tag had to be removed. I attempted to explain that the reason I had cut the tag, was due to the fact that it had been placed on the garment in a position which prevented me trying it on.
The dress was returned within 24 hours obviously unworn. As a repeat customer, I was shocked to receive an email 48 hours later to advise that I was not going to receive a refund, nor a credit note, due to the fact I had cut the tag from the dress for reasons explained above. l have never felt compelled to leave a bad review before, but am so dismayed at the lack of Customer Service received, I felt obligated to communicate this sub standard treatment to other Customers and potential Customers!
I have notified trading standards regarding this matter and will update all Vestry Customers and potential Customers of any update pertaining to this issue on this thread, unless an appropriate resolution can be agreed.
Still no contact from Vestry. Will they be contacting me soon?

We're sorry to hear of this experience you had. I have found the support thread you had with our help desk. If a tag is removed as we cannot verify the item was not worn it makes it un-sellable. As such the return can never be accepted when the tag is returned for this reason. This is why you were refused the return in this instance and why we state in our returns system to tick the box that says the seal tags are in place and why the tag itself states if this is removed the return cannot be accepted.
However as a loyal customer with a good history with us it does give us the ability to consider the issue on a case by case as this builds some trust that, if the garment is in perfect condition, we can assume the tag removal was not in order to wear and return.
We can see your email in our system multiple times but no history of orders which is likely why you have had no leniency here, we'll send you a message on the help desk to hopefully locate your order history and hopefully do more for you if possible.

Beautiful dress!! I ordered forest green and the colour in website doesn't do it justice, maybe the lights!. It was only until i seen actual girls wearing it on FB sending in pictures! But it is class on! Make's me feel so comfortable with the gathering around my tummy. Lol a mum of 3 thats hard ta find. And i feel so skinny in it 🤗 xo

I’ve recently ordered many clothes online as haven’t had the time to go to the shops. I have ordered from many sites and nothing has fit. I’ve been left very disappointed and out of pocket as didn’t return within 14 days. I took one last chance with vestry and everything not only fit me really well but I feel amazing in the clothes and can’t wait to wear them. Thanks so much!
