Scamming my 80 year old dad into signing up costing him 29.50 a month, where he thought he was just making one payment of 9.50 for advice , then wanting the same again to cancel. Thankfully went into his bank and with their help managed to get all of this cancelled.
I wanted to cancel my subscription but could not do so. I had forgotton my password to long in. They did not reset my password so I cannot cancel the subscription!!!!¬!
The Vetcare practice in leigh, uethanised my dog in March 2025.
She was nervous. I told the head nurses called Michelle Cocklin, I would hold her. This nurse grabbed my dog at the scruff of the neckwithout my permission, and forced her head down on the table.
Both precious moments for me and my dog was lost because of the abuse suffered at the hands of this nurse and vet.
When I reported it, it was covered up and dismissed. My advice never go to this vets.

Few months ago i went because my cat was coughing more, i first taught it were stuck hairballs. They say nothing is going on she is fully healthy. (After taking blood and x-ray scans). But they wanted more money from me so they said she needs to have an dental appointment (in total costs me over €1000). Fast forwards to july 2025 and i had to put my cat to sleep while she had the exact same problems as when i went to vetcare. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PET, ONLY MONEY. Out of my heart i advise you to seek an different vet, there are several more wich are way better then these fake people
Vetcare is owned and run by people who genuinely care about animals. The service is first rate, it is friendly and appointments usually on time. You often see the same vet for any subsequent appointments. The big company vet practices don't provide anywhere near the excellent service that my 2 labradors enjoy from Vetcare. I'm very happy to highly recommend them.
We’ve used Vetcare for over 30 years. My oldest cat, Whisky became really poorly. Chad did everything humanely possible to make her well, we thought we’d cracked it, but unfortunately she became ill again and nothing more could be done. Today we took her for her last visit, we had to make the hardest decision ever to let her go. Chad was amazing with her, she passed peacefully, in my arms, and we were given as much time with her as we needed. I can’t thank them enough for their continued care, understanding and compassion. Not only from the vets themselves, but also the nurses and receptionists. I shall miss Whisky terribly, but knowing she had the best care, and the most peaceful end, makes it bearable. Thank you to all the staff at Vetcare Leigh 💔
Great experience I got an awful fright when a little kitten I had just rescued got hurt but vetcare were fast and efficient, staff and vet lovely bit pricey but I don’t mind for the piece of mind I love my animals so much and can always trust this vet practise to look after them. Thank you. Sophie
We have been going to Vetcare in Sale for over 20 years. And have had a number of pets treated by them, and in the main have been satisfied. I recently got a new kitten, and phoned about getting her vaccinated. I was told there was a national shortage of vaccines, that they would put her on a waiting list, and to ring back in two weeks if we hadn’t heard anything. I rang back and they couldn’t find her on the waiting list, but I was told they wouldn’t have been able to do her as they had only had 6 doses in the last month. I understand mistakes happen, but it was a bit annoying she wouldn’t be waiting even longer now. They also said it would probably be new year at the earliest. however I was being told this was an issue globally, and understood there was nothing they could do. My husband thought he would try another vet so she was on more than one waiting list, however when he did he was given an appointment for a vaccine immediately, with no mention of an issue. When I rang the branch back they told me the vets probably used another manufacturer. I feel it was extremely disingenuous of them to not tell me I may be able to get a vaccine elsewhere and that other vets did have stocks. I have two other cats that go out, I told them that, so even though my other cats are vaccinated my kitten would be at risk until god knows when. She has also waited two weeks longer than she needed to for her first vaccine. Obviously getting paid and not losing customers is far more important that the welfare of animals for vetcare. I will not be going back, which I would have had they been honest from the outset.
After making visit after visit and pointing out my dog was laterally passing water for poo, it was diagnosed as Cushing's disease and given tablet after tablet costing me £1000 . My dog had scans witch took a day and still couldn't find what was wrong with him. Last time i rang i was told to take him to a pet hospital .
I immediately took him as he was so ill he couldn't walk. after 1hour the hospital rang to say it's inflammatory bowel disease and he might not make it through the night .
After spending £5000 my dog is doing great and is running around again . I'm now having to pay a dept. collector for the last visit i made when vetcare sent me away with loads of tablets that i didn't use . i wouldn't take my pet ever again to this place . They hadn't even the decency to waver the last bill . If my dog was diagnosed properly in the first place it wouldn't have cost me £5000.
Just to point out it took 1 hour for the hospital to diagnose the problem but vetcare had one day and 5 visits and still couldn't diagnose correctly .
We have used Vetcare for over 15 years and it is excellent. The vet (Chad) is professional, personable and someone we most definitely trust with our pets. He is great with humans and superb with pets!
