Poor advice. Wrong diagnosis. Inconsistent advice from vets. Really poor. I won't use again unless I really have no other choice.

Pet Care Advice
Customer Hub
Pet emergencies can happen at any time – including when your regular vet is closed.
That’s why our nationwide network of out-of-hours pet emergency clinics are open through the night, at weekends and on bank holidays, so we’re ready and waiting to provide expert pet emergency care when your regular vet is having some time off.
Our pet emergency clinics are the pet equivalent of A&E and our purpose is to give you and your pet the care and support you deserve, at the time you need it most, whether it’s four in the morning or in the middle of Sunday lunch.
Vets Now provides this trusted service to more than 1000 veterinary practices across the UK — from over 60 dedicated out-of-hours clinics and two 24/7 pet emergency hospitals. In total, we treat around 200,000 small animals every year — our highly-skilled team works hard throughout the night, weekends and Bank Holidays. So whether you’re in Aberdeen, Belfast or Portsmouth we’re there for you and your pet when you need us most.
We’ve also pioneered other ways to help pets, pet owners and the veterinary profession, such as our comprehensive referrals service and providing our staff with industry-leading training and development opportunities. We also support the pet blood transfusion charity, Pet Blood Bank UK. Meanwhile, our two hospitals — in Glasgow and Manchester — are home to some of the UK’s leading specialists in the field of emergency and critical care and provide care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Excellent care, however almost £700 for an infected anal gland is rather steep.
Nurses and vet were friendly and efficient. Thank you for looking after us! 😊

I took my dog as a referral from my local vets. All staff at VetsNow Manchester were extremely empathetic, the lady on reception was lovely and accommodating, the nurses were fantastic and the vet Stephen was brilliant and kept me regularly updated on my dog's condition. I felt my dog took a turn for the worst whilst we were waiting on diagnostic results. I rang them and they told me to bring him straight back down and kept him in overnight. They are now following him up with his treatment plan, excellent place, can't thank them enough.

Staff on reception, welcoming and helpful with the administation side of Baileys admission. The Veterinary Surgeon very informative and explained exactly what procedure was required for Bailey, including diagram and answered all our questions. His care post operation, and his stay inhouse was great with 24 hour nursing and easy access to ring any time for updates on Baileys recovery.

I was advised wrong. My dog died after being discharged to home supervision due to having no insurance and not having funds available to pay them for the extra stay. They allpwed my dod to leave unconcious and unable to walk. Vets are all about the money with only 10% care for animals. Iv youve not got the money they wont help your pet.

Wonderful and helpful service
My cat was attacked by a dog, called vets now who got me an emergency appointment then and there.
My cat was seen to immediately, I was made aware of a £250 consultation fee, which is fair enough, the lovely vet checked her over, made sure she was fine and we went on our way without being charged. The Manchester Whitefield branch is a really nice, modern and welcoming environment. Can't thank them enough!

The staff there were very good. The two ladies on reception had a lot to deal with and remained calm and professional the whole time despite what they were dealing with

After going there with a very poorly cat, everything was explained nice and simple (treatments and estimated costs). The vets we saw seemed very caring and we knew he would be looked after, which put our minds at rest. We got to go and visit him which was good.

Very efficient & welcoming Staff.
Everything was carefully explained to us.
The whole experience was very positive & reassuring.
Only negative was the cost, Vets fees are extortionate now everywhere. Some animals must suffer because their owners can’t afford to access any Vet, never mind an out of hours one.
