Ipakitine Renal Support Powder is a highly palatable complementary feed designed to support kidney function in dogs and cats with chronic renal insufficiency.
Its formula contains calcium carbonate and chitosan, which act as phosphate-binding agents to help reduce the absorption of dietary phosphates from the intestines. Chitosan also helps reduce the absorption of certain uraemic toxins that may affect normal kidney function. Suitable for use alongside a low-phosphorus diet, Ipakitine can also be mixed with regular food when a phosphate-restricted diet is not accepted. The fine powder is easy to administer by mixing it directly with your pet’s daily food.
Each 180g tub includes a measuring scoop, with one level scoop providing approximately 1g of powder for convenient and accurate dosing.
