I'm a university professor in Vietnam. I'm applying for a job at a new university. Because for some reason Vietnam doesn't keep a database of all my qualifications, I have to get them recertified and submit them again. The problem is this time, my Embassy has since stopped certifying documents. I have another degree from an Asian country. These both needed to be certified and officially stamped and all that other nonsense.
I contacted a law office that advertised this service, and no one got back to me. I had no idea what I was going to do or how to go about doing this.
By sheer coincidence, within the next 3 days, I received my semi-weekly newsletter from Vietnam Teaching Jobs, advertising this exact service.
I reached out to them, they got back to me the next day. I explained to their agent (Ms. Uyen), exactly what I needed, how they had to be done in two different countries, etc.
Within 4 days of receiving PDFs of my documents, I had a price quote. A week after that, I received PDFs of the completed documents from one country. Another three days, I received the rest of the pdfs, and the hard copies were on their way to me. I got them two days later.
From start to finish, about 3 weeks, taking place over Christmas and New Years when everything in those countries is closed.
Amazing.
