In February 2018, I attended Vishwa Shanti Yoga School for my 200-hour yttc programme. This was, in my opinion, one of the best decisions I've ever made. I'm delighted I made the decision to come here. We were fortunate to be instructed by the top teachers in Rishikesh. This one month has not only changed my physical health, but I also feel like a new person mentally. This location has made me spiritually conscious. People who live here are angels disguised; they look after you like family. Regardless of the time, they will be available to you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We were constantly provided delicious food; in fact, the cuisine was the highlight of our entire vacation. People here are quite friendly. I'm waiting for them to start 300 hours in 2023 because I can't think of somewhere else right now. Vishwashanti is still in my heart. Thank you very much! I'm very appreciative!

After 10 years of practising yoga, although I had a lot of information from here and there and my own research, I decided that I had to learn more on what Yoga was about. At this point in my life I was living in Cyprus and one of my dearest friend/teacher, Ayşen Demirağ and Ahmet Alasya started a teacher training program. The books we received and the program that was offered was a big surprise for I had no expectations on how a TT200 should be like but had an idea of how it was from friends in the community. It was back in school and we were getting ready for our IGCE’s, for everyone took it very serious and studied real hard, put in an extra effort to be at the centre every weekend for 14 hours of training.. It was due to respect and love for our Teachers and school. I feel very lucky to have been involved in such a program and met a wonderful group of friends. Thank you once again Raj..

I took 300 hrs TT at Vishwa Shanti Yoga School in July 2015. I must say that all the classes meet my expectations and the teachers are so qualifed and expert in their fields. I highly recommend Vishwa Shanti who needs a deep knowledge of yoga in Rishikesh... The founder of the school Mr. Raj is very helpfull and understanding and ready to solve any problem which may arise during the course which shows how serious he is towards the students.. I enjoyed and learned a lot during my stay and got answers anything I asked to my teachers in all subjects...

Learning yoga philosophy and techniques like asana, pranayama, meditation and mantra chanting in the land where yoga originated was my dream from many years. I searched in google for yoga institutes in India and contacted a number of them. My first choice was VSY and this was my right decision. Completing yoga teacher training with Vishwa Shanti Yoga School is real pleasure. I am thankful to the team of teachers who dedicatedly taught us. They do not teach yoga but live yoga and teach us to live yoga every day. I spent the best time of my life and have a recollection of memories to cherish. Beginning your day as early as 5:30 am and practicing and learning throughout the day and yet feeling rejuvenated and relaxed at the end of the day... wow! What a joy and peace to experience.

Finally this year I decided to get my 200 hour yoga certification and planned to visit India for the same on the month of April. I stayed in Vishwa Shanti Yoga School for the whole month learning the spiritual as well as practical aspect of yoga philosophy and practice. I am transformed. I am experiencing the positive energy in me.

Once I inquired a lady about possibilities of tourist activities in Kerala, she was a friend of friend and been in touch through facebook. Her response was – “There are more yoga schools than the coconut trees.” My first impression of Rishikesh was similar, every other hotel is yoga centre. Gradually I realized that most foreign faces and many Indian tourists in Rishikesh are involved in yoga in one way or the other. Recently, I did one week yoga retreat in Vishwa Shanti Yoga School, I don’t have words to explain but I booked a seat for yoga teacher training in September. Those childhood inclination towards God and the feeling that we should be fully devoted to the almighty still exists somewhere, they say this is Bhakti Yoga. At the same time, I have been working continuously for 13 years now and what I have been today is the result of my tireless effort to make some difference, they call it Karma Yoga. Let me now dive into the sea of Yoga and meditation and let it find what path I should follow.
